I'm barracking for Richmond, simply because I don't want Adelaide to win. Also don't want Lever to get that "premiership player" next to his name ahead of trade week.

However, I prefer the likes of Eddie, Sloane and Tex as people over of Cotchin, Martin and Rance. So from that perspective I won't mind.

Ultimately if it's a close game, I'll be happy.

Rich fans are insufferable cnts at the minute, even worse than normal. Hope the crowd get up but I don't see Crows being able to stop Dusty and Cotchin.

I also dislike Richmond with a passion. Hope Adelaide thrash them. Went to work yesterday (had to drive through Richmond unfortunately) and all I saw were Richmond flags and posters and Richmond supporters dressed head to toe in yellow and black. (Doesn't anyone in Richmond have a job??). I almost wanted to puke. I do not understand the love for Richmond.

lol...great post Jane, couldn't agree more, go Crows

I think Richmond for all their efforts might have reached their Zenith last Sat.

Im backing that the Crows can back up their efforts more favourably than Richmond.

Im predicting a fairly heavily contested and even game for the first half, and for the first half of the 3rd before cracks start opening up.

a kind of..I see your Rioli and raise you a Betts and a Cameron. I see your Dusty and Cotchin and call you with  a Walker and a Sloane.  Reiwoldt..or Jenkins.  The giants  couldn't block Richmond's run at the goals whilst the Pvssie Cats couln't penetrate Adelaide's wall.

The two have only met the once this year. Richmond were in reasonable form and got hit my a Mack truck. The Toiges like to get off to a good start ( who doesnt )  but struggle  if not comfortably on top into the second half ( if not just score but momentum ). A couple of exceptions to this through the year but as a trend Richmond will need to be 2-3 goals on top at half time...and even them against strong finishing sides cant  rest for a second..

Rioli is in lethal form near goal but he'll have to get near it on Sat.  Grimes playing possibly above his grade..good for him. Will need to sustain it Dusty is very clever with kicks to advantage near the sticks. Adelaide are very clever in cutting off the same said style of forward entries.

Richmond might be full of 'don't argue" but Adelaide's just as likely to shirtfront that idea.

Cracker of a game coming up

Love the crows to smash them!

I must say this season is the first time I'm actually really jealous. I was just so use to knowing that next year and year after and so on that we wouldn't be close to making finals. Still hurting for what could have been.

I am over 50 plump and balding. Now the fact that I see so many fat balding Richmond supporters in these brand new tiger jumpers roaming the streets is dreadful. In fact it is disgusting. Also they have these ugly and obese female specimens getting around in tiger stuff that is really gross. I hope Adelaide win by a point so I can read all the Richmond memes and not have to witness anymore of these hideous creatures roaming our streets.

Am trying to build up enough enthusiasm to watch let alone care about the result.

i just hope the coach is watching with every player and reminds them they were good enough to beat both sides but were not able to beat North and the Pies.

The boys should be humiliated and chastened no then inspired to play every second of every game next year so they and we can be interested again.

My FW yuppie next door neighbour here in Brisbane (he has a Doctorate in Floggery) who has never watched a game of AFL in his life, now has a Richmond flag flying on the roof of his house. He was talking "Dusty" this and "Jack" that and was heard singing " we're" from tiger land..." at the top of his lungs.

Betcha that flag is gone by daylight and his BMW sports has a potato jammed up the exhaust pipe with a broomstick.

True but showed we were good enough to. More about the North and Pies results which I suppose also showed they were poor enough to lose to everyone.

Must improve consistency increase desire and desperation.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
