Watch GWS' "effort" last night.

GC had 5 scoring shots for entire match.

Carlton lost by 81 points and conceded something like 10 goals in about half an hour.

Yes, we're all angry and frustrated and down after yesterday but let's not make things up.

Freo now having a red hot go at rolling over again now too.

West Coast will show the Dees how to get it done...

Kennedy will kick 8 goals and Eagles by 56.

West Coast totally shut down Adelaide talls 41 & 4. Yeo bog.

Four quarter matches have been few and far between this year- but we played a ripper against WCE the week after we belted Footscray.

Certainly, but we haven't played any better than the Footscray game, maybe west coast at a stretch.

I'm surprised that so many on here are surprised about yesterdays result.

We limped across the line against Brisbane

I was obviously talking about teams in final contention. Carlton and Gold Coast have nothing to play for!

An epic Essendon choke would definitely be the next best thing to just having got the job done ourselves. Dream still alive!

Sure. We would go in as MASSIVE Underdogs for the next 5 weeks

The MFC's favoured position by a long shot

Looks like everything's going to plan for the AFL. Why have a lowly club like Melbourne in when you can guarantee the Drug Cheats and Meth Coke?

After all, Gil himself said he needed Essendon successful again and playing finals. He won't let the opportunity go begging.

10 free kicks in the first quarter to the cheats! - including multiple shots for goal

we had 12 for the whole match yesterday

Watson's first 3 disposals for the game all came from free kicks. [censored] convenient!

The AFL are creaming themselves at the prospect of Essendon making finals. Hence giving them pick 1 and the softest draw for artificially finishing 18th last year.

Hard to see Freo winning now in all honesty. Having a go but just not enough class.

3 votes R.Leg

Wow, I am now 6 votes ahead of Kangaroo Dusty Martin.

I've got no doubt the AFL want West Coast in the finals instead of Melbourne.

$$$

West Coast are the richest club outside Victoria, aren't they? Huge incentive for the AFL's coffers if they get in, just like Essendon and Richmond. I won't be surprised if there's some suspect umpiring to secure Richmond in the top 4, just like the blatant pro-Essendon umpiring bias we're seeing at Etihad.

At least Freo are making the Bombers earn it.  They'll steady in the last and win by 5 goals, which will make us all sick, but most expected them to blow Freo off the park.

Third time in the thread I went too early. I'm playing like Melbourne today.
