Will GNF have some cryptic inside knowledge that doesn't pass the fitness test at the 11th hour?

Will "The Riddler" return and drop the most confusing amount of clues that goes around in the most ridiculous circles but keeps us all enthralled?

Will M. Goatflaps finally find a spot on a senior list?

Hard to see what or who we can trade at this level. The Lever deal would clean us out of our first round pick plus plus plus.

I think Gaff is close to what we need atm and would be happy to trade (Kent plus a pick?). Not interested in losing/replacing Stretch or giving Gaff much more than 2 years.

I suspect Kent, frost, spencer, Kennedy will all be seeking opportunities elsewhere at this stage. 

I suspect we'll probably look to bring in lever and keep as strong a draft position as possible without giving up any of our young core group.

Can't wait to talk about some trade rumours... once our finals campaign has been completed.  Feels good to actually type that.

This thread is also proof that there is one poster, and one poster alone, who cause threads to go off topic.  It's rare that this happens these days as everyone is up for some good, robust discussion.  The next time someone tries to defend this poster they need to take a good, long, hard look at this thread to see the negativity he brings to the board.

There's been some radio chatter about Mason Cox looking to leave the Pies.  They say he wants to be the #1 ruck and has no chance of unseating Grundy.  No firm takers so fr but they are talking about which clubs could use him.  Doggies could be a good fit.  

We've heard that Spencer would like a fresh start elsewhere, but again no idea where. 

Kent has been mentioned a few times as trade bait. 

While everyone knows we're sniffing around Lever, I'm not at all happy that we seem to be ignoring the auctions for a couple of quality midfielders.  Maybe our list managers don't want to unbalance our list by overpaying one player?

They are probably asking for too much.  Well, more than we are comfortable with paying.  Lever will still cost us some coin, but will come across at a cheaper price and probably not unbalance the list too much.

Is the money really worth going to a small, insignificant club like North?  He might give them a couple more wins but he is potentially giving up some serious success for some extra coin.

Maybe.  He might still harbour a little annoyance at how his last contract was handled as well.

It sounds like the Tigers aren't exactly lowballing him in their offer though.  If a Carlton, for example, was offering the same money then I might understand the change.  But North are the worst Victorian club in so many areas that surely you would rather stay at Richmond than go there.
