I'm going to make all my European housemates watch at least some of the match to show them the greatest game in the world! And wear my Melbourne Polo with pride!

Throughly enjoy my week's holiday in Bali.

I couldn't do it.

you sit through a decade of turning up thinking just 1 win is like a premiership and I couldn't be away.for this.

i've bought a 3 year old girl into the world over this time and she will be there with me and her grandparents and aunties watching what we haven't seen since the Daniher years, FINALS.

That's why I planned it during the bye week. My partner still hasn't worked out why I picked that week.

Funny thing is that I will not be too excited.

The relative success of the 90's and noughties (what a horrible word) has made me want a lot more than a mere finals appearance.

Hopefully the team can really turn it on over the next few weeks but their performance of late has not been promising.......... Go Dees

We have had zero success, relative or otherwise.

Since the AFL began in 1990, we have played in one Grand Final.  Even St.Kilda have played in four.

It is a pitiful record, and we can thank Richmond for making it only the second most pitiful.

THE ACCIDENTAL DEMONS by The Oracle

In the space of eight days, the Melbourne Football Club’s plans for the coming year were turned upside down by two season-ending injuries to players who were contending strongly for places in its opening round match against the GWS Giants. Shane McAdam was first player to go down with injury when he ruptured an Achilles tendon at Friday afternoon training, a week before the cut-off date for the AFL’s pre-season supplemental selection period (“SSP”). McAdam was beginning to get some real mom

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the

We'll break down the Match SIM against North Melbourne and wrap up the preseason with insights into training and our latest recruits.
