If (when) we beat Collingwood (and secure a finals spot) I will ...

I'm going to make all my European housemates watch at least some of the match to show them the greatest game in the world! And wear my Melbourne Polo with pride!

ย

Probably login to skyscanner/jetstar.com to see how much a flight is to Sydney.ย

ย

Get my butt ready for a good night of sitting somewhere to watch the final on TVย when I realise I can't afford a flightย

Looking forward to the boys coming to Adelaide.

ย

Enjoy a stress-free Sunday and barrack for the Eagles, because I can.

I couldn't do it.

you sit through a decade of turning up thinking just 1 win is like a premiership and I couldn't be away.for this.

i've bought a 3 year old girl into the world over this time and she will be there with me and her grandparents and auntiesย watching what we haven't seen since the Daniher years, FINALS.

That's why I planned it during the bye week. My partner still hasn't worked out why I picked that week.ย

โ€ฆstill have absolutely no idea where we'll be playing our Elimination final.

Funny thing is that I will not be too excited.

The relative success of the 90's and noughties (what a horrible word) has made me want a lot more than a mere finals appearance.

Hopefully the team can really turn it on over the next few weeks but their performance of late has not been promising.......... Go Dees

We have had zero success, relative or otherwise.

Since the AFL began in 1990, we have played in one Grand Final. ย Evenย St.Kilda have played in four.

It is a pitiful record, and we can thank Richmond for making it only the second most pitiful.

be on level 3 at Myer highpoint wondering where that oldย Ticketmaster office now is and how to i buy finals ticketsย

....and be utterly gobsmacked and curse Gill at the price since I haven't been to a finals game since 2002 .ย

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
