Someone take responsibility and kick the ball.

To who? There is no one forward to even kick to.

Hogan playing up the ground now

And he and the team are all the better for it

This could easily be 100 plus points. We look flat as a tac

Beaten in transition once again

Lucky Eddie missed that.

Is it players or coaches to blame? Lazy as hell and no intensity whatsoever.

Our % is going to take a serious hit ?

Nothing has changed this quarter. They've had 4 entries, every time, no defender between the Crows player and the goal.

MAN. ON. MAN.

That is the forwards job to ensure they are in the right spot to make a contest.

Our talls need to lift. Hogan, Smith, Gawn, Pedo all being smashed.

Why they picked smith over a fast player in the tropics is a mystery.

Not once have I turned the TV off this year.

But just seeing a string of nervous Melbourne players [censored] it up over and over again to allow a [censored] easy Adelaide goal made me yell "Nah!" and turn the blasted thing off.

[censored] off then. Go support richmond.

Ollie!!

Great goal Clarry.

Our handball game is ridiculous

The bottom line is tonight there are 8 points up for grabs. We've already let 4 slip. Lose by a large margin and we've let another 4 slip as well. We can't afford to do that, so there's still heaps to play for.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
