lol could have picked that before the game..... we once again concede a last minute (second) goal.

We lead by 1 goal at the half

Gotta learn how to shut it down when a term is almost over.

God [censored] damn it.

You wait and see. Tigers will come out and kick 6 straight in the 3rd. What a stupid way to end the half.

We're still not convincing and haven't been since round 1. Teams know that if they stick around they can pounce.

We make ourselves vulnerable.

High "don't argues" are deemed less rewarding than the actual dubious tackle.

This is sooooo [censored].

That was an incorrect umpiring decision. The ball was knocked free in the tackle.

Regardless chook... he took on the tackler ....again. Needs to look for the quick give more often in congestion like he did a few times in the first

ANB is an equal leader with Milkshake on 4 inside 50s for us. But whereas Milkshake has actually hit targets, ANB is just bombing them in. Add to that his horrendous foul-up before half-time and he has to do a lot in the second half.

ANB and JKH not quite there tonight.

Today would've been Kent and Bugg's bread and butter. Missing a bit of class up forward, why hasn't anyone tried a scissor kick like snap. always searching for a handball in the forward line.

JKH just 2 disposal in a half is simply not good enough.

Garlett needs to lift big time.

ANB. BEND OVER AND TRY TO PICK THE BALL UP. YOU FIND YOURSELF OVER THE LINE. IF YOU KICK IT OVER THE LINE......

Never mind.

Unfortunately we still play poorly skilled and poor instinct footballers and they are costing us games. It is not just possies it's what you do with them.

2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
