Could there be a more fitting surname than 'Dank'?

Rank perhaps.

I know for a fact that Dank was interviewed by Customs (at Tulla) approx. a month before the 'blackest day' announcement. He had more than 15,000 messages on his phone. Some very notable persons among his contacts.

My mate (co-incidentally a Dons supporter) who gave me the info said Dank will never talk (a matter of life and death you could say).

'Stephen Scumbag' probably isn't quite subtle enough.

Remember that ASADA only found out about Dank as they were tipped off by the Aus Crime Commission who were investigating organised crime and bikie gangs.

This guy Dank appeared on their radar and the trail led to Essendon. The rest is history. (The ACC had plenty on the drugs used at EFC but for legal reasons ASADA couldn't use it and had to start their investigation from scratch ... after the shredding machines got burnt out from over use.)

One day the ACC report may be tabled in parliament. I expect it will be eye opening.

The gunshots fired into Dank's house? Strangely reminiscent of warnings given by crime/bikie gangs to other crims ...

Just saw Dank at an inner north farmers market. Wandering around talking loudly on a mobile bluetooth earpiece, spoiling the atmosphere for everyone else, as usual. Did a bit of eavesdropping, wasn't hard given the arrogant volume. All I can say is that if he were as free with documents as he is with loose banter on the phone we'd have more truth about the drug cheats

Looked dishevelled, stubble and hair unkempt. Didn't recognise him, except the loud mouth voice was a giveaway. Probably touched the fruit and veg, which means they're no longer organic

I am sure his records are stored off shore somewhere.

Correct me if I`m wrong but didnt the drive-by take place just before a sporting event/speaking gig type deal that he was to spill some beans but later pulled out of?

Not much danger of him spilling the beans at a sportsmans night as he has threatened that umpteen times and never done it.

The kind of people who would fire shots into his house are not the kind to worry about what he'll say at a sportsmans night. they're more worried about what he'd say to cops, lawyers and govt investigators. Hence the gunshots. They're not into subtle.

The danger here of course is the obvious imprimatur that it gives TWSNBN to go forward with the T(h) ird Resurrection.

Just when WADA is putting their foot down harder on sport's world wide treasonous activities, we are putting our "home grown" up in lights. The Gil  Legacy is truly one of glorious mayhem........

The whole AFL are a disgrace on this - and the fish rots from the head.

No need. As sure as night follows day, his day will come. In any event he has already destroyed himself personally and professionally.

But I still can't wait for the TV footage of him in a St Kilda motel with a 16 year old !

He's lodged multiple appeals before this point and not shown up.

Hird is about to present the Norm Smith medal and the AFL are desperately hoping everyone has forgotten the saga and does not boo him.

Dank just put the whole thing front and center.

Let the booing begin...

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the
