6- Viney. One of the best games I've seen him play.
5- Kennedy. Involved in a majority of our chances.
4- N Jones. A solid captain's game.
3- Oliver. Quiet third quarter, but a great debut.
2- Gawn. Was worried about Mummy going into this one, and I'd give Gawn the chocolates.
1- Watts. Did a few things that turned the game.

6 - Viney Great 50th Game

5 - Watts  Good effort especially contested

4 - T McDonald Good game under a lot of pressure.

3 - Gawn Midfield got our mid first touch most of the time

2 - Oliver Great Debut! The good to see the number 13 doing exciting things again.

1- Hogan Needed to Stand up, and did in the last, 3 vital goals.

6 - T-Mac (dominant)

5 - Gawn (beat Mumford and was very influential)

4 - Viney (bobbed up everywhere)

3 - Watts (his best game for a while)

2 - N Jones (stood up when we needed him to)

1 - Vince (a solid game)

Oliver, Kennedy, Matt Jones, vanders, Jetta & Salem were also prominent - contributions came from all our players.  Hogan stepped it up like good players do.

Best for all 4 quarters:

6 - Viney

5 - Watts

4 - Kennedy

3 - Gawn

2 - N. Jones

1 -T. McDonald

Unlucky: Salem

Oliver was very good, kicking was a little off today & did nothing in the 3rd but great debut and can he teach the rest if the team how to handball low flat direct please!!!

Hogan played one quarter very very well.... and the Garlett move to Scully on the wing to start the 4th had a big impact.

Tyson, VDB (despite his 2 goals), Harmes, Kent & Vince were all a little too fumbly for mine, but means there is still plenty of upside in todays team and all of them did really good things at times.

Frost up forward still not working for mine, all this talk about his pressure, he had no tackles, looked lost & gave away 2 frees when he did finally wrap someone up... sloppy.

The other lesser lights seemed ok, but looking forward to Dunn, Brayshaw, Petracca, H & Stretch forcing their way into this side!!!

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

    TRAINING: Thursday 9th January 2025

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
