I don't mind Robbo ( with the one disclaimer - he cannot bring himself to be impartial when it comes to Essendon).

He might be a bit of a buffoon but he doesn't take himself too seriously, as opposed to many of the other journalists who think they are delivering the word of god and just cant be questioned. He constantly makes a [censored] of himself but he can laugh at himself for doing so.

I like the way Gerard and he feed off each other.

I agree, I like the way they work together. Yobbo is kind of the "Molly Meldrum" of footy.

I just refuse to watch Heppell though.

I also think Gerrard has backed off a bit, maybe under instruction from above....

Actually watched Heppell last night.

He and the players still believe they have done nothing wrong. It is dumbfounding.

i don't think heppell (or the others) will admit to any guilt why they are in the process of suing the club

not that i think they will either when the litigation is over

The other thing about Heppell's blaming of the club is that, to all intents and purposes, the EFC would be expecting him to be fully committed, once the suspension is served, for the 2017 season.  Just how deep does the resentment go, against the EFC, with currently suspended players of the ilk of Heppell?  When you think about it, this is an astonishing admission to be made by such a player, in the public media.

If even half the current list of suspended players feel in any way similar to what Heppell stated publicly last night, there is one hell of a black hole confronting the EFC for at least the foreseeable future.  It will be a hell of a long way back. ............. if they ever get back.

So absolutely no point in having him on the program. It's jobs for Robbos boys.

Had to turn it off after 5 mins of listen to Heppell and Robbo gushing over every word he said.

Ridiculous that they now have a regular panel member that is serving a drug ban.

He should not be anywhere near AFL or media while serving a ban.

I won't be watching the show this year.

I suspect that it is to keep several hundred thousand EFC supporters tuning into the show.

It really is a terrible look having a suspended drug cheat player on the show.  I wonder how long ago he was contracted for the gig and whether it was before the suspension verdict was made.  Last night's pathetic effort was obviously done to try and establish a little credibility and some sympathy among the non EFC fraternity.

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k

OVER YET? by KC from Casey

The Friday evening rush hour clash of two of the VFL’s 2024 minnows, Carlton and the Casey Demons was excruciatingly painful to watch, even if it was for the most part a close encounter. I suppose that since the game had to produce a result (a tie would have done the game some justice), the four points that went to Casey with the win, were fully justified because they went to the best team. In that respect, my opinion is based on the fact that the Blues were a lopsided combination that had

    CENTIMETRES by Whispering Jack

Our game is one where the result is often decided by centimetres; the touch of a fingernail, a split-second decision made by a player or official, the angle of vision or the random movement of an oblong ball in flight or in its bounce and trajectory. There is one habit that Melbourne seems to have developed of late in its games against Carlton which is that the Demons keep finding themselves on the wrong end of the stick in terms of the fine line in close games at times when centimetres mak
