    I am very sad to see Jack go and regret that he was unable to fulfil his potential with the mighty Dees. I wish him all the very best with Port Power. Now have to change my password.

    Great for the Club, its supporters and sponsors. Great for the players too knowing that there are more and more of us wanting to get involved and wanting to watch their exciting development. Fantastic.

    Thanks Petracattack. So the commentators don't talk about those big clubs and their losing streaks. Indicates reporter bias perhaps, or incompetence. Maybe they do it just to get our backs up. Ah well. Keep smilin'.

    AFL website has an item about the longest losing streak belonging to us. Well, according to the Richmond website, it's them, not winning against the Cats since round 9, 2006. Maybe their website wasn't updated but if it's true, how come the expert commentators get it wrong? Anyway, it's a streak we should break and one that I hope the Tigers don't. Go Dees

    All of those that think he was staging really need a smack in the mouth, just so that they can qualify their opinion. A short jab from an elbow is a very effective blow.

    I think that at the start of the season our draw was ranked fourth hardest. A lot of things have gone against expectations and will continue to do so. It seems the stats say that the more you win the easier it gets. I don't think NM would agree with that.

    Chook never said they were being disrespected and simply stated in the first place that they deserve respect. Go ahead and critique the players, good or bad, as you will but with respect. And I am not saying that you have been disrespectful but suspect that if you are, you may be criticised.

    I think it's great that MCC members choose to be MFC members. I just think that implying that MCC members are tight and arguing about that is pointless.

    I would like to see the argument about MCC/MFC cease as it seems pointless and potentially damaging. I would like to see the Club using people like Jack Viney,Daisy Pearce, Max Gawn and Jesse Hogan to promote the club and attract a whole new band of supporters and members.

    Chook said they deserve our respect not that they haven't been and he is absolutely right.

    Luke Beveridge isn't sounding very confident. He is worried about his defence and said if they don't win its not the end of the world.

    I just read JV's comments after re-signing. He says all the right things and when those kids out there who look up to him as the player they want to be, read it they will be even more determined to be like him and hopefully become new supporters of the Mighty Dee's.

    Thanks for the input people. Very helpful information. I guess we just have to hope that the players don't do stupid things and that these injuries are minimised as much as possible.
