  1. I'd like to be in it again I was in the Stynes league last year Eittocs12 / Dodge City Dealers
  2. Total Games Ave games Round 1 1382 62.82 Round 2 1615 73.41 Round 3 1490 67.73 Round 4 1384 62.91 Round 5 1653 75.14 Round 6 1651 75.05 Round 7 1399 63.59 Round 8 1410 64.09 Round 9 1273 57.86 Round 10 1406 63.91 Round 11 1412 64.18
  3. Had to turn it off after 5 mins of listen to Heppell and Robbo gushing over every word he said. Ridiculous that they now have a regular panel member that is serving a drug ban. He should not be anywhere near AFL or media while serving a ban. I won't be watching the show this year.
  4. I'm keen to go again I debuted this year in the 'R. Barrasi' League, and came runner up. Total Score for the year was 49,554 Happy to go into what ever league available
  5. Team name - Terlichmyballs R Barassi League
  6. JKH and Nev Jetta make final squad for tomorrow eagles Vs All-stars game. Looking forward to see how JKH goes
  7. The O'Rourke trade is the equivalent of our trade last year with Pick 2, 20 & 53 for Tyson and 9. If you compare the 2 trades means we paid pick 2, 53 for pick 9 and would have got Tyson with pick 20. I liked our trade last year but this trade is massively in favour of Hawthorn. Yet another instance of a big club getting a great deal at the expense of a smaller club
  8. He has had multiple soft tissue injuries this year. Good in and under but not great disposal, tends to just bomb it forward Lost a step maybe 2, who knows if he slows up even more over the off-season I'm happy with Crossy but can't have too many of the same type in the team, I think we should pass on him
  9. Out Pedersen (broken Nose) Tapscott(Knee, not on injury report but 2nd time he has hobbled off in 2 games) Terlich (Poor decisions/disposals from back line) McKenzie (if you're a tagger and don't stop your player and also miss goal from 12m out, what good are you?) In Cross (one of the few professional footballers on our list) Gawn (Dominating VFL ruckman) Strauss (based on VFL player reports has been in best over the last 3-4 games) Michie (Same as Strauss) I would like to see Salem come in but he has not been playing well at VFL level, probably getting tired in his first season, Roos has not been rewarding average VFL games with AFL games. Blease to be the sub as he didn't have a great game but he was playing mainly half forward and the ball was butchered when players tried to get him the ball on the outside to use his speed. Watts also very lucky to stay after another poor effort
  10. AFL website reporting jarred Knee, 1-2 weeks
  11. Sorry I had to vent somewhere after reading this article. http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/dees-fall-short-of-priority-pick-20130912-2tnkf.html We can add Josh Elliot from the age with Barrett taking up the fight for the other teams against Melbourne to get a Priority pick. It would be nice if the information they used to support their case was actually factual. "Blease showed promise in his first two years, but was poor in 2013, playing just 10 games and averaging only 31 fantasy points a game." As most people know Blease broke his leg and didn't play a game until Round 15 of his 3rd season on our list. He goes on to mention T$ jumping ship with no mention of the fact he mainly went as they made him the highest paid play in the league.(Mind you it worked out well for us...Hogan & Barry). Carlon's priority picks are mentioned but he fails to take note that carlton's priority picks were picks 2, pick 1, pick 1 and Pick 17. but does mention our priorty pick history with picks 3, pick 17 and pick 1. Of course he only mentions names and not where these picks were. He finishes the aritcle by saying the standard of these players doesn't support melbournes case for a priorty pick. It's not hard to understand that it is not the standard of the players but the overall standard of the TEAM that should be the determination weather Melbourne should receive a priority pick. It would be nice if there was some balanced reporting on the topic.
  12. No Thanks, We can get a pretty good Mid for 600K and we need mids to get the ball in the forward 50. Who knows, if we could get the ball in the forward 50 we might find that one of the players on our list might be able to play small forward
  13. Went to the game today to see hogan. A couple of good pack marks and seems to love throwing his weight around, very exciting. He is going to be good but i hope someone teaches him a better set shot approach. He does this stutter/skip thing about 3 steps before kicking it. Should have kicked a few more today, but loved his marking ability and attack, wish he could play now. My thoughts on some players:- Taggert was really good today I'd give him a game next week. Took some good marks and I think showed a bit of class with his disposal in the wet Blease was really good in the first half, I didn't see him get too many touches in the 3rd but at the 3 qtr time huddle the coach made special mention of the forwards defense pressure and noted that blease had 22 DI's(no idea what DI stands for but I'm presuming something to do with defense acts) so he must have been follow the coaches instructions. Couch and Magner were good as always. Magner back in next week. Clsiby was good coming off half back, has a good kick. Spencer and Gawn switched between ruck and forward and both could have kicked a few more as missed a few set shots. maybe a bit harsh as it was wet. They had to play on Kosi in the ruck and jason blake when they went forward, both these saints boys are passed it. Dom barry provided some really good outside run. Nev Jetta i didn't notice to much but popped up with a goal in the last Sellar played down back and was lucky sandy kept bombing it long as he got a lot of intercept marks. I saw he was mentioned in the best players but he really didn't have to do too much defending today so got a lot of easy touches. It was good to see a lot of the boys there to support casey, I saw watts, frawley, grimes, trengove, tappy, T mac, Nico, Pickles. All the coaches were there as well
  14. I went to the game today and I'd have Fitzpatrick ahead of Dawes to come in next week. Wasn't impressed with Dawes at all. He had a good 3rd Qtr but that was about it, got a goal handed to him in the last qtr from some great work by one of the Casey guys. Fitzy took a number of strong marks today and kicked a great goal in the last. Blease and Davey were in and out of the game during the day both had flashes of good play but not a 4 qtr effort. Toumpas was good all day and his kicking is top notch, hits a target or kicks to players advantage every time. He was a little quite in last 10mins but he is still young so presume he just ran out of legs. It was like Rodan was not there in first half but really stepped up in the 2nd half to be one of the better players. I was surprised to read here that Magner had so many touches, he was good in and under and was a good contributor all day. Couch was good all game
  15. Gutted Hogan not playing. One of the few Casey games I can get to this year and hes not playing. Still good to see Dawes, Taggert and Toumpas
  16. Watt's out for 2, and Dawes & Fitzpatrick still another week in the VFL just said on SEN. Added to Clark out. Forward line not looking to good
  17. If they are so easy then why for last 4 years have our players just been kicking every kick out long to the boundry to jamar who normally drops it and the ball comes back into the 50.
  18. He is pretty soft at times, but his kicking out from behinds today was very good and he had a couple of good kicks when switching play to free players
  19. I thought he was unfairly subbed off on Saturday, yes he wasn't having a great game but there was at least 6 or 7 worse. I also saw AFL insider and for David King to stand up for him he must be doing the right thing as David King hates the Melbourne footy club.
  20. Greg Swan is the Best CEO in AFL and he has already shown he would leave for money (Colingwood to Carlton). Give him an offer he can't refuse(big $$$$) we don't have the money now, maybe ask AFL for a short term loan with no interest, but in the next 5 years he will more than repay his salary. He has played a massive part in making Collingwood and now Carlton finallicaly strong and the result have followed. It would also be a little up yours to Carlton to take their CEO after they were the first real tankers in AFL and we were the only ones that got punished
  21. I think Ling would be great assistant coach or even Mark Riccutio would be a good get. Keep Wayne Carey away from the club, one too many indiscretions and David king is just to arrogant, he would probably want to be the coach rather than assist.
  22. I've had a number of Essendon supporters come to my desk today at work to have a go about our club. They think they are so funny until I tell them to keep laughing when their players are all suspended for 2 year for drug use, they quickly stop smiling and go away
