Herald Sun today's big article on the draft tonight.

The MFC do not exist. It's all Essendrug and Carlscum! Written by Sam Landsberger (Who) ???

The only mention we do get, both of our predicted picks are quietly ridiculed.

Hopefully this jerk will be shown as a fool tonight.

Angry from Elwood...

Got to love ridiculing your own prediction.

Same hun([censored[) different day.

Save the ridicule for after the selections have been made.

Edit : that auto sensor is getting harder to beat.

PPS. wrong sensor I know.

The censor sensor?

Nice work. Love to say that I meant that but just lazy/hazy brain.

I could argue that it requires a sensor to censor but that would be stretching the truth.

It's the Herald Sun. What exactly did you expect apart from fools and bigots getting their say?

It has taken me a long time, but I now know exactly what people in footy really care about, winning games. The rest is souffle.

If we win games we are a club that matters, don't and we aren't.

Mostly true Red...but how does that explain writing about Essendon and Carlton?

Not to mention his good mate Sam Edmund who wrote this pearler saying we made a blue trading for Salem/Tyson instead of Josh Kelly:

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/if-youre-a-melbourne-supporter-look-away-now-demons-draft-bungles-aplenty/story-fni5f91a-1226881324821

Edit: Thes was a 2014 article not a recent one. I've kept it bookmarked in case Edmund ever decides to tell the world how good he knew Salem would be

when he wins his first Brownlow.
D'oh it was Edmund not Clark who wrote the piece!

I doubt you will utter words with more wisdom than those this week Mr. Leg

The Hun is known as the Collingwood Football Club Gazette throughout the industry ( also the liberal party herald - but that's another story).

Collingwood has the biggest membership and mention of Collingwood sells papers.

Even if Collingwood languished at the bottom of the ladder the Hun would treat them with reverence. It sells papers!

And with the utmost respect to Demon supporter who read the Hun, I'm reasonably sure most supporters would rely upon other sources for their news, thus the relative paucity of MFC column centermeters in that paper.

I honestly consider that the worst article ever.

Hyperbole. Check

Premature. Check

Made up quotes. Check

It just gets worse and worse with every passing day as both Tyson and (arguably) Salem are both better than Kelly in their own right. Heck, the article even alludes to us picking Hogan ahead of Kelly as if it was some sort of mistake. FMD.

Even the profit we posted was talked down by the herald sun. in the title it said something about how equalisation was helping the Dees manage a profit. fark me. might be the case but free agency and the fixture certainly dont help!

that paper is a disgrace - if you want to know which player has new tatts or a new hairdo then the herald is your paper

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
