If we beat Freo I will ...

Laugh. Cry. Have the best pre-birthday weekend ever. Spend my long weekend watching the replay 8 times.

Actually, if we won it would be awesome if everyone wore their jumper/scarf/hat/beanie to work.

(PS. I'm unemployed...)

I have done so many times since 2010 stigga .... mostly after losses unfortunately. On reflection I ceased this practice last season and now only wear it after a win meaning i have had to put up with less vitriol but also the bitter winds from all these cold snaps.

As you can imagine the reaction from colleagues has been a tad shy of positive. It is good to know however that we are still very much hated within the football community :-)

* Is this negative? ... if so apologies to P.R. , P.J. and seemingly, certain players.

Get myself locked up in a prison cell,Bronze up and refuse to come out until we have consecutive wins.

Will be sitting in the stand at Subiaco when the final siren sounds thinking FMD how much did I have to drink

Laugh hysterically for about 24hrs straight while watching the replay and try to work out if our football is actually guided by a magic 8 ball!

Not this [censored] again.....

Jumbo pls... that attitude may rub off on some of the players

errrrh......this is demonland, tgr

Old habits.

I meant demonlanders. Sorry.

Pretty sure we're going to cop it bad this week

Roosy said he wants to see the boys get angry, I reckon they might go too far, it won't last long enough and Freo will give us a touch up

70 plus point loss.

Reckon I'll be chucking a sickie on Monday due to catastrophic hangover.

Just stare into the distance for a few days trying to understand the meaning of existence.....

What do you mean IF

Who the hell is this guy? Haha.

....know that we'll get thumped by GWS the following week.

I am worried about them more than what Freo can do to the supporters' morale.

You'll just walk up and down Collins and Bourke st in yours TS?

Who the hell is this guy? Haha.

Have a sneaking suspicion P.J. may have hacked OD's account Adam. An inside job!!? O.o

If we win...

I will go to Diagon Alley, kick Harry in the nuts, burn down the weasleys shop and [censored] on the head goblin at Gringotts.

I will be very proud of the boys, and question why we don't always play like that. Is that negative?

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
