I MSGd the club on this issue over a month ago and never got a reply. We have a red clash but have not worn it once. Expect to see it vs Carlton. There is a thread that discusses this already. Look at the 'Clash Jumper' thread

I hope we wear it against the Dogs, Blues or Freo or it's just a waste of fabric

Why does pudding make you fat? Pudding is delicious. I'm gonna write an email.

Well white can make you look fatter

It probably sounds ridiculous but id rather play in red than white any day. White looks so anaemic, so washed out nothing.

Ferrari aren't white for a reason...just saying

So Fox Footy have dubbed round 18 "RedRound". No idea what this means but we're playing away versus Collingwood at the G. Perfect chance to debut the red strip, far moreso than our potentially clashing white strip.

What's wrong with our traditional strip ffs?

No clash.

This is all totally out of hand.

Something I whipped up about a month ago. I'd Like to see us use something like these obviously using the reverse as often as possible, but when we can't we use the Invincible Whites clash version which goes back to when we wore all white in the 1890s. Never getting rid of the red legs though, I think that's important. I think the all white might rub a few people the wrong way but I've never been a fan of mixing our colours with white, prefer to go all the way.

Except that there's no need to wear an alternate strip vs Collingwood.

We should refuse to wear anything but our traditional red and blue. Collingwood have refused to cooperate for years. Edited by Kali

I like these options.

Have always wanted red and blue opposed blue and red. If AFL insist on white the Invincibles is a good link.

Red socks are a consistent key identifier for players and we can insist our opponents were non clash alternative.

Well done.

Will be interested in others responses

I like these. Not sure about red shorts, but that's just me. I've never recovered from having to wear Essendon colours with red shorts during a stage of my footballing days.

I still reckon we'll wear red against Carlton.

Carlton have a bit of white in their usual jumper so it would seem a bit silly for us to wear the white one when we have a red jumper.

it would also seem a bit silly to have a red clash jumper and never use it

So that's it then, white jumpers again. The AFL can't get it right.

What about this doosy. Adelaide Bulldogs

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
