Dwayne is hard to listen to at the best of times, his love of Port Adelaide and Geelong is equal only to his hatred of Melbourne.

Today, you could hear the tears rolling down his cheeks, and the croak in his voice with every Melbourne goal got louder and louder. After Garlett kicked one of his many goals he proclaimed "dagger to the heart!" He was of course referring to himself.

Well Dwayne, to show there are no hard feelings despite all this I will be sending you a small gift in the mail.

He can go eat a bag.

So can the Fox crew including Gerard Healy.

They were woeful today.

Consistently wrong.

Who is Dwain Wussel anyway? Just another wannabe who cannot hide his emotional ties to today's big losers!

He is a tossa of the highest order.

He is a grade A [censored].

He can't even call players correctly 1/2 of the time, I have no idea how he gets a gig.

I cannot stand it when this idiot is commentating. I would like to wipe the smirk right off his face. I don't need to - our boys did it today. I will not listen to 3AW because of him and as a female I find him a sexist pig with an enormous ego.

Wish the poster who had the letter Derbrain sent to the guys mum would post it, humiliate the dog.

What's the story there RGRS?

Russell is the worst and most annoying commentator going around, and to be worse than Brian Taylor, is a big call.

3AW Sport Today is very good, except for the total liability that is Dwayne Russell.

Hopefully his employers will wake up to themselves and realise that there are much better commentators out there who can take his place.

Easily the worst commentator. If you hear just a few of his games, you quickly pick up his few horrible catch phrases he continuously wheels out.

He was very condescending a few times today.

I do not agree with you.

That honour goes to Brian Taylor.

I just wish he had been calling the game on 7 today.

He would have been choking on his words.

"That's ball!" he yelled, about 2 minutes in when a Melbourne player was tackled. "Throw!" as the ball spills lose from a Geelong tackle. "The Demons might even lead going into quarter time!" as they're three goals up with a couple of minutes left in the quarter.

Just a really biased commentator, with today the double whammy of a team he loves against a team he puts down at every opportunity.

I know BT is ordinary but he doesn't take himself too seriously. There is just something about Derwayne that puts him head and shoulders above everyone else.

It's his arrogance.

Seriously, you would think he won 3 brownlows, 5 flags and 8 best and fairests.

He also yelled out 'He ducked!' during the second quarter- it was comical.

Not only that, but at least twice today he failed the basic addition/subtraction and hit the margins wrong, very wrong.

I wish the Fox Footy commentators would learn the names of our players.

Spencer is not Gawn

Stretch and Neal Bullen are not also Toumpas

Ameture embarrassing stuff.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
