He may not sneak an AA, but is well on his way to his second Bluey

I'd say Trac has Bluey in his sights, but I'd say just about every other MFC award linked to tenacity, the coaches and leadership award Jack has sealed up.

Agree that he's been huge when we most need him this year.  Absolutely love the bloke and I also think his leadership has gone to the next level.  He seems a little less overtly critical of others in his approach than perhaps he may have been in the past and more of just "get behind me boys, because we're going to fight this one to the death!"

The footy/war analogy has always been a bit tenuous, but I know if I ever did need to fight in the trenches in one, blokes like Jack are absolutely the kind you'd want to be in it with.

Agree with all of the above, absolutely love Vines, however, he did go at 48% disposal efficiency today. His disposal at times is the only thing holding him back from becoming an A grader. But his will to win is unmatched.

Jack Viney needs to be in the conversation as the toughest and most courageous player in the AFL.

He is as tough as nails and probably eats broken glass for breakfast.

Loved the commentary on Ch7, he is a wildebeest! 😄

Watched vs Brisbane final 7+ minutes a few times, the goal he kicked was unbelievable. In that kind of situation, probably only he or Kozzie could be able to do it by their own. He wasn't waiting for an opportunity, he was searching for and even creating an opportunity for himself. What a man he is!

Playing like a captain whilst Max picks and chooses, should probably make it official

You are A LOT DC!! You like to to ANTAGONISE!! Even you should have a line in the sand DS

Apologies to the board for giving DS my air time. The best way to deal with this man is to ‘Ghost him’ and I took his bait.

Yep, I was one of them. Bad call. He's been great the last 3 years.

Jeepers, you're a bizarre poster mate.

You have have some hits, but a lot of misses. If you were a footballer, I'd say you wouldn't make it.

Maybe my language was harsh but if you watched Gawn live today you’d see a guy who managed his way around the ground, often content to man O’Brien away from the play rather than sprinting back to plug the backline or making sure he’s the long down the line target.

Can argue it’s smart as a veteran ruck doing it alone but do you want a captain having to manage his work load? Even playing with Grundy has been about managing him through the season.

Viney is busting it for every minute he’s out there

HEAVEN OR HELL by The Oracle

Clashes between Melbourne and St Kilda are often described as battles between the forces of heaven and hell. However, based on recent performances, it’s hard to get excited about the forthcoming match between these two sides. It would be fair to say that, at the moment, both of these teams are in the doldrums. The Demons have become the competition’s slow starters while the Saints are not only slow to begin, they’re not doing much of a job finishing off their games either. About the only th

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k
