Gorringe and Prestia?

I think people like the idea of what Gorringe is supposed to be - a good, well balanced forward/ruckman. However the reality is that he has played 5 games in the last two seasons and has struggled since being drafted.

Perhaps he is worth a spot on the list if his development in the seconds is on the right track, but I'm not that keen on him after looking into it a bit more.

Zac Smith was on the outer for a while, now it seems to be Gorringe.

I guess you could say, Gorringe is the new Zac.

Thank you, I'm here all the time, try the fish.

Get a strong feeling our off-season targets boil down to Prestia or nothing.

You put him in a starting midfield with Petracca, Brayshaw, Viney, Jones, VdB and Vince and you have a healthy balance of experience at both ends of the scale, and A-grade talent. It's an imposing group equal if not superior to GWS, which would have us genuinely pressing for a top 8 finish.

If Todd Viney did meet with Clayton then I think he would've been the only Suns player discussed.

Id be super surprised if we were only content to flesh out ONE player

There'll be a shopping list

I doubt Prestia would be the only player targeted when Bennell, Gorringe, O'Meara & Dixon are supposed to be leaving the Suns. It may be that Gold Coast are willing to move other players on & the same could be said for Port Adelaide if they are serious about acquiring Dixon. Roos has been forward in letting everyone know we want to improve our list, I presume we would try & get involved in facilitating as many trades as possible to change our list.

Would take it, probably. Would prefer a second rounder on the way back too, but we simply need to recruit some class into the club, and Prestia is that in spades.

I'd take it in a nanosecond.

Could be first round and Howe for Prestia.

Is this you speculating, mate or have you heard something? Seems fair to me.

Option two.

I wish people wouldn't do that.

I don't even understand why bing181 put his quote in this thread when it's do with Hogan and nothing to do with Prestia... unless I'm missing something.

So is there any news about Prestia or has this just been brought up for no reason?

I'd like to think we can name every mid fielder in every other team over the course of the summer. I'm hearing strong rumours around Dale Thomas.

Quick, go and start 'The Daisy Thomas thread' so we can watch halfwits argue about his value to our side and how we will only need to trade a 20th rounder pick to land him!

The stuff about him and Mick? Yeah, heard that too. Not that I'm to judge how people choose to love.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
