Kent likely to play Development league this week :)

Salem 1 more week and likely to play the weekend after :)

Kent a chance to play Development League

Melbourne injury list: round 15

Sam Frost (toe) – 4-6 weeks

Dean Kent (hamstring) – test

Cameron Pedersen (wrist) – season

Christian Petracca (knee) – season

Christian Salem (hamstring) – 1 week

Jack Trengove (foot) – season

Not the biggest injury list we've ever had.

Injury excuses need not be made this week.

Don't know why, but the idea of Kent playing in the dev league seems comical to me. It think it's just the air of confidence he carries himself with.

The boy likes a run and a goal, so if he can blow the cobwebs out early, it could be an entertaining half a match. I'd settle for a "got through it alive" kind of half a match, though.

Can't be bothered to trawling through the posts, but I do wonder how many of those who are berating the club for caution on Frost's foot are also the ones who castigated the club for supposedly rushing Trengove back enabling an aggravation of his injury, though undiagnosed (and quite possibly undiagnosable) at the time

Just saying..........

* and that photographer guy too

classic example of

club did <insert thing>

we lose lots of games/finish down the bottom

<insert thing> was the problem! Fix that and the pain goes away!

Note: <insert thing> can be as small or large as one draft pick or sacking/hiring a coach

point is that hundreds of things contribute our onfield (mis)fortune and pointing at one of them in the wake of failure is just plain folly

Yeah it's like he'll play his designated half, kick 4 goals have 25 touches and be disappointed he didn't have a greater impact.

How can a broken toe keep a player out for the season??

...because it hasn't healed??!!

That Misson is bloody hopeless, I tells ya! Shouldn't he be working on a cutting edge supplements program to help our boys recovery faster?!

Yeah. Missen should go out and find the magic supplement that heals broken toes.

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
