Someone over at Big Footy says that the club is mtg with Danger next week and have put big dollars on the table. The club is lkg to trade it's 2 nd pick for him

This poster said he jus finished a 9 month contract in WA either at WC or Freeo and has inside info.

Take it as you will....

I'd be more happy if we traded Dawes & Toumpas for Walker, who David King says has put contract talks on hold.

Danger for a second rounder I'd do for sure. Ahhh the silly season.

2nd pick, as in pick 3 i think he means (Frawley compo)

Wonder if theres any truth to the club meeting with him next week? Guess we will find out soon

Don't think this is likely to happen but it would be the best trade ever if it did! Dangerfield is a superstar, a leader, a midfielder, a goal kicker. He is everything this club needs and more. Would gladly give up any picks required to finally have a star playing for the MFC. It would not only improve our on field performance instantly, but also make us a more attractive destination for others in the future. Please god let there be some truth to this rumor!

I remember hearing a story that Sanderson changed Dangers role late this year as his body was giving in. I think it was on SEN. If this the case I hope the club do their due diligence and ensure Danger is fit enough to continue his super star status.

According to BF, Danger's management are entertaining the idea. It's not across the line though. Just discussions at this stage.

I'm sure his management would entertain any idea if it involved big money, but I don't think Adelaide will.

He is out of contract next year. Roos said earlier this year that clubs will start to trade players who refuse to sign and lose them to FA. Not sure if Danger is a restricted free agent next year. Anyone else know?

Why would he want to come to us? He could command big money at other clubs with brighter prospects of finals success. I'd love to have him but it just doesn't add up.

Captaincy - throw captaincy at him - It may be a slap in the face for Jonesy but boy would he add so much to us.

Absolutley not, JONES will walk next year as a FA and he is one of the important leaders/changers in the new culture

He wouldn't be safe walking down the streets of Adelaide if he swapped to Port would he? I've heard the rivalry is fierce.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
