We get rid of Stefan Martin and keep Jake Spencer.. awsomeeeeeee

Didn't buy into the Neeld philosophy of football but then he was a very smart dude as I remember.

I hate North Melbourne with a passion, and the fact that they just lost to Brisbane makes me hate them even more. They're crap, obnoxious and STILL manage to beat us regularly.

Wow does that suck.

I think we can talk about how bad our drafting/trading has been for ever and a day but really we all know how pathetic we have been and what's the point.

We can't change it and it's just getting really tiresome.

Don't get me wrong dd I'm not having a go at u (& I am guilty of it too) but I am over ALL our bad draft decisions.

It's in the past and can not be changed.

We r now in 2014 have a new regime in charge and for the first time in a long time I have complete faith in their ability.

IMO it's time for all of us to move on.

We are a bottom four side. That is now obvious.

Yes there has been improvement but in 2012-13 we were sitting outside the AFL Comp.

Beat the Westies at Etithing and i could change my thinking.

how was brad scott avoiding the question when asked what he said to Rockcliff. That was crap when he said he was congratulating him and some others.

Did it during Brown's speech too, his old teammate.

I hope Rockliff makes it known what was actually said. Brad Scott couldn't be a more detestable bloke.

This might be a weird question, but does anyone else think that Tippett may be in a bit of trouble (or get points) from the MRP?

He deliberately stuck his leg/knee out and collected Shaw in the head. How is this any different than if someone chose to hip'n'shoulder but made contact with the oppositions head?

Pretty much sums it up I think, based on form it's the only conclusion

I think no surely you have the right to protect yourself from an on coming charge but then again we have the MRP.

Beat me to it. What exactly was Neeld's philosophy, other than pissing everyone off?

It would be interesting were he wearing the red n blue - the MRP seem to find it amusing to try new stuff out on us.

Brad Scott - once a bully always a bully.

He will never admit (or even get) that he was way out of line. At most he will make a joke of it.

Well done Tom Rockliff for defusing the situation.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
