Put on twitter today along with another couple from Ayrton Wolley from channel 9 who will have the story about it on 9 news tonight so I presume it will be today

Are you sure?

Under the photo is says 16 Jan.

When I saw that I assumed that meant it was from Wednesday.

I was there for about 40 minutes this morning at Casey - overheard a couple of people saying the truck was there to put together some advertising material for AHG,

They were doing some filming at Casey then heading back to AAMI park to do some more, truck looks great.

I will leave the reports to someone else who spent more time than me there but just couple of quick observations;

Hogan - Pounding out the KMs on an exercise bike in the window of the change rooms, looking to be really pushing hard just love his endeavour, dont think he will be sitting out for long

Clark - Usual session off running on another oval

Tyson - Just looks so comfortable and a genuine smart footballer

Viney - Didnt see Viney s- tarting to worry me a bit as last session I went to he wasnt out there either. I think someone mentioned on here before a hip problem at the moment.

All the boys were sweating up big time but no one in my short stay looked to be lacking the drive to push through it; cant wait for 2014 to begin just to see what progress we have made from last year!

This is the third session I have been to and one thing I have really noticed is that not only is every drill being done with energy but always in numbers, someone always running past for a handball or support, one thing that certainly lacked last year.

There was some considerable chatter out there to keep the intensity up, at one point during an in close handballing drill Brett Allison would stop them to start fresh, he would throw the ball to someone not expecting it to get it started, at one point threw it to Jetta who wasnt paying attention, straight onto him about everyone needs to be focused don't let the intensity slip.

Last thing, new training tops are awesome I actually like the white one for an alternative strip during the year.

Training Report

I arrived at Casey Fields at the advertised starting time of 9.30am or was it later than that*?

In attendance were no players but there were 12 CFA officers there and I assisted them in putting out two bushfires that were threatening to burn the house that the players have been training down.

It was all over in 45 minutes and we all adjourned to the pub for a few drinks with Campbell Brown.

* can't remember because I'm suffering from a mixture of smoke inhalation and intoxication.

Ten News will also have a feature tonight on our training at Casey. Getting some great exposure for the club and our sponsors this year. Will be even better once we announce our captain.

Will be even betterer when we win some bloody games.

These types of conditions probably rules out going to Darwin to train.

Why not - it is probably a lot cooler :-((

HEAVEN OR HELL by The Oracle

Clashes between Melbourne and St Kilda are often described as battles between the forces of heaven and hell. However, based on recent performances, it’s hard to get excited about the forthcoming match between these two sides. It would be fair to say that, at the moment, both of these teams are in the doldrums. The Demons have become the competition’s slow starters while the Saints are not only slow to begin, they’re not doing much of a job finishing off their games either. About the only th

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k
