What would you like for Christmas? Be creative lads..

For me it would be Cotchin to return a positive sample or Eddie booted for a drunken racial rant..

Merry Christmas!!

James Hird banned for life from all world sporting codes and sent to prison for 10 years for peddling illegal and banned substances inside a football club and injecting his players with it

Every Bomber player that was injected to be banned for 2 years

Essendon kicked from the AFL forever with no chance of ever being allowed back in

They would like James in prison!

North to merge with the GC $un$. This is what should have happened. Brayshaw is only holding back the inevetable.

There need only be one Melbourne in Melbourne.

I think mines the most unlikeliest of the lot, for all the footy reporters who made false claims/reports in the last 3 years to stand up and admit they were wrong. I'm looking at you Caro, Barrett, Robbo, Patrick, and Denham.

I LIKE this

The Laws of the game committee sacked and replaced with people who have a little more sense and feel for the game, preferably with immediate removal of the most idiotic rule changes from the past 20 years or so.

Mitch Robinsons two front teeth.

Sorry guys but for me I would love my mum to be there Christmas day. She passed away early this morning and it just hurts.

Thanks for all the great arguments and discussion during the last few years that I've been on the forum, we might not always agree and sometimes we get pretty heated but we all love our footy club and want success.

Mum always said 2013 was going to be a bad year, as usual she was right. 2014 onwards and upwards for the Dees and life in general.

Condolences and best wishes rjay

Sorry for your loss rjay I wish you all the best.

For Xmas I want to have never watched Seinfeld so I could watch it all over again. I want Adrian Peterson to admit he is Santa Claus and I want to stop having to work my nut off leading up to Xmas. My kids make it worthwhile but If I didn't have kids I would probably sleep through the whole thing.

Rjay Condolences, a tough time for your family.

To all the demonlanders family my very uncreative wish is you all have a relaxing and happy christmas with your loved ones and thanks for the discussion this year.

Lets hope Mr Roos turns out to be santa and brings us many wins.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.

  • CASEY: Sandringham

The Casey Demons rebounded from a sluggish start to manufacture a decisive win against Sandringham in the final showdown, culminating a quarter century of intense rivalry between the fluctuating alignments of teams affiliated with AFL clubs Melbourne and St Kilda, as the Saints and the Zebras prepare to forge independent paths in 2026. After conceding three of the first four goals of the match, the Demons went on a goal kicking rampage instigated by the winning ruck combination of Tom Campbell with 26 hitouts, 26 disposals and 13 clearances and his apprentice Will Verrall who contributed 20 hitouts. This gave first use of the ball to the likes of Jack Billings, Bayley Laurie, Riley Bonner and Koltyn Tholstrup who was impressive early. By the first break they had added seven goals and took a strong grip on the game. The Demons were well served up forward early by Mitch Hardie and, as the game progressed, Harry Sharp proved a menace with a five goal performance. Emerging young forwards Matthew Jefferson and Luker Kentfield kicked two each but the former let himself down with some poor kicking for goal.
Young draft talent Will Duursma showed the depth of his talent and looks well out of reach for Melbourne this year. Kalani White was used sparingly and had a brief but uneventful stint in the ruck.

  • PREGAME: West Coast

The Demons return to the scene of the crime on Saturday to face the wooden spooners the Eagles at the Docklands. Who comes in and who goes out? Like moving deck chairs on the Titanic.

It's Game Day and there are only 5 games to go. Can the Demons find some consistency and form as they stagger towards the finish line of another uninspiring season?
