  1. The Tasmanian Greenbacks? Predominantly green and white possibly a Huon pine silhouette. Personally I think the mighty Demons should stand strong and defend our daemonic namesake, I can’t imagine these similar examples being tolerated, Saints / Angels, Blues / Navy Bulldogs / Dogs Suns / Solar Power / Bolts, Volts Eagles / Sea eagles Demons / Devils, it takes away from our brand, fight it !!
  2. No in Lakes Entrance fresh fish, shark, crabs, bugs & prawns (in season) are sold all year round from the back of the old fishing-trawlers, so fresh they’re quite often still live, but please 🤫 don’t tell anyone.
  3. I had hernia surgery tuesday let’s just say the meat and two veg is black and blue, but I’ll still be limping into the G come 7oclock wouldn’t miss it for the world, Go Dees!!
  4. Wow I don’t know what to say you blokes are sour!!! this is a thread about a Melbourne Demons themed peace of street art, I think the club has done a fine job of linking the club to the CBD of late and this street art is a perfect way of doing so, even if it’s a little gritty, even if some old Dees from Toorak disapprove. And when I say let’s embrace things that make Melbourne Melbourne of course I didn’t mean rape and murder what dark planet are you on!
  5. If that’s what you want to pull from that fine “ let’s just embrace every thing that make Melbourne Melbourne !!” Go Dees
  6. Whether you like it or not graffiti, street art, tagging are as much apart of Melbourne culture as is our love of sports, footy the MCG, culture doesn’t have to be nice much like the seedy under belly of horse racing, drinking too much and punting, lets just embrace everything that makes Melbourne Melbourne this week including the mighty Demons!!
  7. I’m walking the street of Fitzroy like a vagabond not sure I’ll take part in Society this week.
  8. Well deserved! Nat is a friend and knows far more about the game than I could ever hope to, just a shame she’s die hard Hawks.
  9. Had to throw these two strapping demons in the mix.
  10. To breeze by the Pies claiming a 95pt QB win claiming Buckley’s (coaching) scalp in the process and after a very public media breakdown (eddy) Fat Head fall in his sword.
  11. Why is no one talking about my man Oska Baker ? The kid looked very at home in the midfield group on wednesday squeeze in front of Petracca more than once and dished it out with speed and class, and please a request no more with the Ginger Ninger cringe worthy at best we can, will and must do better.
  12. Stopped in very briefly to witness Hogan training with the midfield! looking quite at home collecting the fruits of Gawn's tap work.
  13. I stop by just in time to see Gawn hobbling off the ground looking fairly disappointed I hope someone can shed some light on this !
  14. So can any of our photoshop experts make a marked improvement to the currant clash jump (the f~>#*ing massive logo one) using a similar arrangement ?
  15. It's almost lazy to just disregard the jumper as JUST A JUMPER, exsuse the pun but it is the fabric of our club and brand I could not think of a better way to dilute the brand than to constantly introduce new jumpers and colours. Think about some clubs with iconic kits The Yankees - pinstrip The Raiders - siliver and back Real Madrid - there logo hasn't change since 1908 The all backs - back white fern The Chicago Bulls if you want your club to be a icon first the jumper must be.
  16. Perfect ?? was that so hard! And just think someone actually got paid to design the new one.
  17. I love the new logo, but hate the new jumper !! I am so confused.
  18. Ben Long looks sharp! But I guess the challenge is picking the upside player the one who will grow the most being a full time footballer.
  19. Just watched his highlights he is/was a tenacious player, good runner with speed bit of a Ben Kennedy type. Not sure of his age now
  20. I did contemplate putting Hunt on the list but his performances have been so consitent I feel his worth is proven and there is no need to contemplate and discus.
  21. Guess I should add I believe there is a player in AVB who could be a weapon! Harms could be anything at this point infact all these players have not perpetuated the simple frustrating skill errors of passed Melbourne players. Although I can't say extactley why but I struggle to see Trengrove coming good like other player suffering long stints on the sidelines such as Gawn, O'meara case will be interesting to watch in comparison.
  22. The middle men They are not yet stars, not yet first call starters, not yet reached there peak yet all full of potential and and most likely hold the keys to Melbourne rise they are Melbourne middle men in every sense of the word (note I have excluded key backs or forwards, new recruits and the kids we know will or expect to star) Stretch Salem Bugg Kennedy Harmes AVB ANB Trengove JKH Wagner The question is who has the greatest cieling who will thrive and survive who will not!
