So half our team would stand up on grand final day yet we won 2 games this year!

My list:

Nathan Jones - but not if he's tagged by Crowley

Viney - in a couple of years when he's matured

Frawley

Garland

Putting Hogan on that list is ridiculous. As is Howe for different reasons. And the others haven't consistently played well in regular home and away matches. Not sure what makes you think they would in a grand final

I want to see us play a final first, but out of that list you can't go past Viney and Chunk. But who even knows if this list is relevant when we do make the big one again. I could be a withered old shrewd by the time that one day in September roles around. Dried up, bitter and pessimistic. Like a woman version of Old dee :)

I'd be thinking Jack Grimes and Jack Viney, but it's abit insane to be thinking that far ahead, there is a decent chance a lot of those players will never play in a Grand final.

I went to the Geelong / Hawthorn prelim this year.

We are <so far> from that standard

Port's rapid rise gives some hope, but to use a loaded phrase - we need to get on the reality bus. Our performances have been an embarrassment, and we were hopeless.

In the fantasy world of Melbourne playing a final, I reckon Mitch Clark might stand up (assuming he's on the ground) - we need more mongrel.

    Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force for training at Gosch's Paddock on Wednesday morning for the MFC's School Holidays Open Training Session.     Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training.     There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training.
