If we can get him in the rookie draft then all good.

I suspect if someone bids on him at the National Draft though, then we'll let them have him.

This kid looks the part has good pedigree and from all reports has what it takes, looks strong through the legs also. Do what we need to to get him id say. He probably doesn't want to play for anyone else and that means a lot in my book

We need size, speed, brilliance and mongrel. If he has these qualities and is better than other options go for it. If not no thanks. Heritage should have nought to do with it. Collingwood ended up with a hell of a job tipping out Clokes and Shaws

I love the idea of having three sons of guns on our list.

Surely this one is worth a shot, given the way the other two are going about their business.

the catters did ok from F/S's a few years back.

we also need big inside bulldozers to help extract & get the ball rolling our way. big legs maybe slow, but they help inside to stand you ground & feed it out.

Had 22 disposals on the weekend so its good to see he is now staring to win the footy. Think in his past 3 or 4 weeks he has averaged something like 21 disposals a game.

have seen a lot of different figures for his height/weight, some quite old

from a list published by afl 6 days ago

Jake Lovett
Dandenong Stingrays - VIC C
9.1.1997
Height: 182cm
Weight: 81kg

What we need is a 10cm taller Viney with better disposal.

Oh you mean Ollie Wines?

The more kids we can get through the door who love the club, are sick of seeing peehearted efforts from our current list and want to move us back up the ladder, the better.

All the better if we get him for a packet of chips.

A good hanger never hurt. Yesterdays Demons game certainly did no harm to the plan of drafting from the Dandy Stringrays.

My understanding was once a father son gets through the main draft you can nominate them as your last rookie pick. In a weak draft and a year where we are planning to probably have a few rookie picks I think that could be the right result for Jake from what I've heard about his draft chances.

Wow what a grab

Definitely want him now, ha no idea he could do anything like that

So you want him based on that one hanger or his footballing ability because i have never seen him play and im guessing you have?

I want him because he wont cost us much and that hanger shows he possess a skill that the vast majority of inside mids do not have.

    TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
