A year or two back I made the observation that a number of commentators had made veiled remarks about CS

and their dislike for him.

I have noticed these same people and others have changed their tune

and are now making much more conciliator towards the MFC since CS left.

Even our friend GD is sounding reasonable these days.

Imagine how they will be in 2014 when we improve!!

CS seems to have got a lot of people offside.

How dare he be a normal human and have a life outside football! Shame

Not having a go at Mick. Just thought it was funny that we went from watching Elmo and Cookie monster and co on stage singing and dancing to speaking at a professional lunch. It make sense that he was very dressed up.

Has Greg Denham really gone a bit soft on us and being nice. Is he still calling us the bears?

Appreciate hearing that....and feel somehow relieved that he's still a supporter somehow. Personally it was never Mike I was angry at but Caro

If you ever run into Bendan Julian ask him why they call him Kernel (cricket theme)

Very funny story that one, I had a mate on that tour, I think it was an U/21's tour?? Anyways he told me the "kernel" story, very amusing!!!

I'd be asking him why he lets people call him BJ which seems to be what he is known as. Shocking nickname as far as l'm concerned.

At least those are his actual initials. How would Brendan Goddard feel?

Big Maxy Walker (my second favourite MFC ruckman named Max) might have sorted Sheahan out if he hadn't clarified it, still loves the Dees.

why be offended. We were pathetic. its a fact. truth hurts but the club performances were extremely pathectic. if it takes the media to point that out then so be it. in the end it helped to remove schwab. ill take that

I often don't notice what you post, as I am distracted.

I'm due for a weekly change.

Given what I am looking at, a fortnight is not a long time before change is in order.

That I didn't know. Still, less relevant to him and more to Brendan Julian. Great sense of humour, footballers. :P

To be fair, wasn't it Caroline Wilson who labeled us as pathetic and disgusting?

Perhaps she just looked in a mirror and reflected :-)

Thanks redleg, if you ever meet Jon Ralph could you punch him in the back of the head for us? Cheers mate

I have met Jon and he is actually a nice fellow.

All niceness aside could you give him a whack nonetheless Red :)

I am sure he would write a nice story about us, if there was something nice to say.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
