Thanks for selling him Filth.

He is what you lack.

Enjoy the Q stick

[censored].

That's beautiful, WYL. It's like a haiku.

Collingwood morons,

Wish they could take it all back.

Bad luck you jerkbags.

Although time will tell if he become a value for money player,

Leadership - Tick

Kicks goals - Tick

Experienced - Tick

I never rated the guy at the Pies, but

Which is why most supporters should never critique opposition players. Until his injury in 2011 he was in better form than Cloke. His last 18 months was poor, but at 24 was only coming into his prime years and he'd already shown he could play at AFL level.

One of the very few things I won't hang Nerd over.

Dawes the player - sensational work horse perfect for leadership and delopment.

Dawes in the long sleeve jumper - sensational! Most amazing dees jumper since the Matty Whelan sawed off sleeves glory days!

Dawes on triple M just then said:

Roos been brought up in conversations

Also said that Neil Craig has been a great asset to the team but up to him if he wants the job

He wants an experience coach that can build around good contested stoppages and good defense.

Said future is pretty bright with the forward line we have and that Hogan will be A grade.

I never understood what Collingwood saw in Lynch, they will be regretting pushing Dawes (pun intended) out.

Over here in the Weat even the Eagles supporters didn't rate him. Worst decision ever. That and Morton at pick 4 haha

I'm really happy to hear him talking up the future with coaches, I was a bit concerned that he had a really close relationship to Neeld and would be disgruntled by his sacking. From last nights performance couldn't be further from that.

I swear I'm starting to see bits of his game rubbing off onto Watts. Dawes has been really good at cajoling and forced the ball forward. I know this is a Dawes thread but there was a moment, didn't lead to a goal but the ball was in dispute and Watts picked it up and was being tackled by two doggies and he just kept moving and managed to forced out to one of our guys.

Can't wait for Dawes, Clark, Watts, Howe, and Hogan to play together. Get the midfield right and opposition defences will be [censored] themselves.

That's the thing isn't it? Let's start getting some fear into the other teams, playing us. It's been a while.

Agreed, he is exactly what Carlton needed. We no doubt had more money to offer.

Cloke would never have gone to Carlton

and didnt Lynch knock us back too ?

Nice,

Dawesy only just turned 25 too. He has so much footy in front of him, and it will be his best footy.

Dawes is probably the smartest player at the club.

He would have known Neeld was a terrible coach who was killing the team and would have wanted him gone ASAP.

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
