I'm not watching or listening, but just looking at the stats:

We're up in the clearances 18-17. However, contested possessions are 66-48 their way. Inside 50s are a terrible 27-18 their way. The worst, though, is that they're winning disposals 184-123 but also winning tackles 29-14.

Improvement in clearances, clearly, but without any improvement anywhere else.

The Suns were 18th for Contested Poss. last year and this year they're 4th and they have a better midfield and they average more tackles than us this year.

It adds up.

I don't know if it's neeld to blame, or not, i just know this forum is more interesting than our games. It feels like we are all prisoners talking through the walls to each other

Maybe we're bit players in Papillon or The Shawshank Redemption.

Pass the spoon, I think I can dig my way outta here. Unfortunately that takes me into the sewer, but that's hardly any worse than where we are now.

I usually see some positives, but can't see (m)any here today.....can anyone?

Our coach is struggling as much as, if not more than, the players.

If I played in this game and performed like they have up to this point, I would not show my face in public ever again.

I just hope Jackson has the fortitude to sack those continual non performers, as soon as he is able to.

We simply need football people with heart, not under performing wimps.

I did have a glimmer of hope but now I know we are shot as a footy club.

The MFC is in it's last throes. Many of those there today need to be held accountable.

Hang on a minute, they get paid regardless of how they perform. They have one 1/2 of a game to save this club.

Our players are ferocious enough to make a tackle even stick.

Jack viney looks to be getting the ball abit, but otherwise this is a disaster.

you feel for the few boys actually having a crack.

Maxy is probably the only player with some balls at the moment.

EDIT: add Viney and M.Jones

Somehow if we kicked straight it might be pretty close :/

this is painful to watch on the most part

Jack Viney 15 disposals, 5 clearances, 4 tackles

We must get a proper coach and development staff so that this young gun reaches his full superstar potential

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t

    TURNAROUND by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons won their first game at home this year in the traditional King’s Birthday Weekend clash with Collingwood VFL on Sunday in a dramatic turnaround on recent form that breathed new life into the beleaguered club’s season. The Demons led from the start to record a 52-point victory. It was their highest score and biggest winning margin by far for the 2024 season. Under cloudy but calm conditions for Casey Fields, the home side, wearing the old Springvale guernsey as a mark of res

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an
