On target TD

We gave the sweetener to PA

who on traded to WCE for Stevenson within 5min. ( suspicious?)

My bet is ( and I'm no punter) far from it.

Deal will be done Pederson to Dees for pick 49.

49 on traded by North to PA for Jacobs

All of that looks fine except the last line. PA will not clear Jacobs for 49. North however have higher picks that are not too high.

Gys to North for Pedersen and a pick that gets Ray. Then when Tippett goes to Swans, we do Martin and 49 to Lions for 33 and keep the pick.

Keep gysberts, Trade Martin for 33, give out 49 for Pedo and 70 odd for Ray.

heard this on the wires, then on the Age and on facebook - and from the same source that told me we would take Viney at pick 3 if we had to:

http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/demon-gysberts-emerges-as-possible-solution-to-pederson-trade-20121025-287bm.html

Gys to North for a pick and Pederson.

First rounder with 3 yrs development and averages over 20 disposals. MFC better play hardball on this.

We don't know if it's a terrible deal yet because we don't know what the pick would be. I wouldn't trade Gysberts unless the return was very good though.

Word was a while back that he was disgruntled. Seems a pity though as he looked the goods early on.

Gysberts wants out according to me mail. has been offered to North for pederson and a pick

If Gys thinks it will be easier for him at North he had better have a re think, Bailey isn't their coach.

Only if Gys really wants to leave, and it has to be a fairly substantial pick. Not a 40plus pick

No way, what's so good about Pederson anyways. He can't even get a game a north. Not worth trading Gys For Cam and a pick

So instead of working on the kid's weaknesses and develop him (lack of muscle and stamina) we get rid of a two time 21 yo rising star nominee, and get Rodan and/or Ray. I'm not thrilled. I hope this does not come back to bite us in 2-3 years.

Remind me, how many games has the Gys played with the Dees (not Casey)? 19 I believe - three in his first season, 15 in 2011 and just one this year; as far as development goes, by all appearances, you would not believe he has had three years. I like him, but I really don't think we would get much for him.

Gysberts for pick 38 and Pedersen then on trade pick 38 for Ben Jacobs. I rate Ben Jacobs higher then Gysberts and we get Pedersen who we have wanted all traded period.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
