I figured there would be one anyway so I thought Id get it started. For anyone attending can they please answer some questions for me.

1) Was Moloney there and were there other players missing

2) Speeches. I presume Don and Mark will speak. What did they say

3) Im assuming Jones will win. What did he have to say.

And was there any other important news.

It would be great if someone could report these back.

I will respond on what they will stay

1) Moloney will be there and will hand the medal to Nathan Jones

2) Don's speach Thanks for coming we all know it has been a tough year on the field, we are not happy with what transpired and we are looking forward to a much improved 2013. Off feild we will be profitable we had Opel re-commit for a second year and a number of sponser options that we are working through. Like to pay our respects to Jim, the first B&F with out him, thanks Jim for all you have done.

MN Speach, firstly thanks to the members and supporters for coming out to barrack for us when we know it has been hard to stick with us. 2012 has been hard we have changed the whole footy department and we will hopefully see our results change in 2013. Boys look around these are the people we let down, we have to prepare ourselves over the next 6 weeks for what will be another hard pre-season, there are no excuses this year be ready for October 29, we have to make our supporters want to come and watch us play, they turned up this year and we have to give them reasons to turn up next year.

3) Jones, thanks to the coaches support staff, family and supporters. Boys this year was crap, there is no way we are putting up with this in 2013.

There will be more fluff but these will be the main points.

I'd like to know if Moloney, Rivers, and Royal go. (Would expect so on all accounts, but who knows?!)

And geez I'd love it if Clark gives a speech!

Will he talk about not deviating off any lines? And that if someones does, they can go to Carlton, or wherever?

You talking about Clark or Moloney?

Clark seems a passionate bloke, and is part of the leadership group, doesn't need to talk about the players leaving, needs to focus on the players staying.

I don't understand why you'd love for Clark to speak.

Much of what you just wrote is Moloney to a tee 12 months ago.

Why wouldn't Royal go? I haven't heard anything about him getting the sack.

What do you want our leaders to say?! As I explained, Clark is part of the LG, and seems a passionate and down to earth guy, would love for him to set a positive and proactive tone for the preseason.

I'm just saying that that's pretty much what I heard from Moloney at the B and F 12 months ago.

I get ya. But as I was saying, I would like to hear something more positive and proactive for the boys that WILL be there, rather than agro at whoever is leaving.

Neither have I, but his contract is up and if he happened to not be there it would speak volumes.

I was under the impression he was still contracted for next season....are you sure he is done?

Except for poor ol' Trenners, who shouldnt make top 2o!.. he'll cope with it all better next year imo..

Absolutely agree with everything else.

I think Dan Nicholson should top 1o, he was superb this year!

Expect the same next year from Evans, as Nicho moves into the midfield.

If Jones was overlooked tonight.. ha.. id burn down the freakin 'G!!!

{-i actually wouldnt really mods: you ever erasing, beastly powerful overlords, who we just love having 'round the place-}

EDIT: actually, replace Trenners with Tom McDonald! he deserves top 5 after his remarkable season.. king of the 1%ers our boy tom!

Why do we always seem to trade our best a fairest winner a year or two after they win it.

History will tell you that winning the bluey medal isn't exactly the best thing.

Please be Morton, please be Morton, please be Morton, please be Morton......

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last

    LIFE SUPPORT by Whispering Jack

With Melbourne’s season hanging on a thread, Saturday night’s game against North Melbourne unfolded like a scene in a hospital emergency department.  The patient presented to the ward in a bad way. Doctors and nurses pumped life-saving medication into his body and, in the ensuing half hour, he responded with blood returning to his cheeks as he stirred back to life. After a slight relapse, the nurses pumped further medication into the bloodstream and the prognosis started looking good as the

GAMEDAY: Rd 15 vs North Melbourne

It's Game Day and it very well could be the last roll of the dice for the Demon's finals aspirations in 2024. A loss to the bottom side would be another embarrassing moment in a cursed year for the Dees whilst a win could be the spark they need to reignite the fire in the belly.

    THE HUNTER by The Oracle

Something struck me as I sat on the couch watching the tragedy of North Melbourne’s attempt to beat Collingwood unfold on Sunday afternoon at the MCG.    It was three quarter time, the scoreboard had the Pies on 12.7.79, a respectable 63.16% in terms of goal kicking ratio. Meanwhile, the Roos’ 18.2.110 was off the charts at 90.00% shooting accuracy. I was thinking at the same time of Melbourne’s final score only six days before, a woeful 6.15.51 or 28.57% against Collingwood’s 14.5.89

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t
