Living in NSW I get to see the GWS game every damn week and I have no doubt if Scully was no. 4 at GWS, it is reasonable to expect Demon players will fill the first 3 place getters in the Brownlow.

(I must admit my main interest in watching those boring matches is to see Scully get smashed one way or another. Turns out it was always one way so I don't have to feel guilty about wishing physical harm on him.)

Why are we even talking about the piece of sh*t? He isn't a Melbourne player!

as far as i can tell atm, melbourne got the better end of the deal, provided we draft well with the compo picks. He has had no better than a mediocre season and is definitely not worth the $2 million a season or whatever he is getting! He also has knee tendon/ligament issues so they will have to manage that well, probably will never play a full season!

We don't want people like him around the club anyway despite his talent, we need people who are trustworthy and don't lie!

Get over it.

What a farce. It's come to light tonight that there was no round by round voting in the GWS B&F. The voting was an assessment done retrospectively at the end of the year. What a joke.

And Scully must should be embarrassed. Although I acknowledge he's an innocent beneficiary in club politics.

I think I deserve 5th place in the GWS B&F for resisting the urge to run Tom Scully over in a shopping centre last weekend.

I'm a team player!

if you were a team player youd have hit him and reversed back over him just to check.

True that, I mean he was the biggest low life in IKEA, and that says something!

I did push in front of him at the cash register at another store though. Serves the [censored] right *small victories*

So the first Sheedy medal is devalued by controversy and is nothing short of a shambles. A political vote to save face, by a club that overpaid an ordinary footballer and person. Hope his contract leads to salary cap problems in the future.

PS. Apparently his contract is now affecting the clubs ability to deal with Giles. Oh the joy.

That is so stupid how they pick there best and fairest. Dont even call it the best and fairest. You cant sit down at the end of the season and just rate each player. It now makes sense how Scully came 4th.

And it appears (according to the hun, that is) that Giles has walked out of GWS

Karma. Scully should be further embarrassed.

The top 10 B&F finishers are listed on their website here. It didn't get much of a mention but apparently Phil Scully ran 11th.

Williams 'there is no way that Jonathan Giles could have finished below Tom Scully in this year Best & Fairest at the club'.

Funny how the former assistant is sinking the boots in as well :D :D

Also looks like Giles is packing his bags

Where is that smug pr&ck gubby allen now?

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
