So what is a better way to put the whole club on notice.

Ummm the club is on notice. We're an absolute embarrassment. We're 0-8. We've been competitive in parts of only 3 of those 8 games. Our opposition are quite happy to make derogative public statements about us. Our membership is down. Our attendances are down. We are the media whipping boys of the comp. We are most definitely on notice.

How do you envisage not turning up to help?You and a couple of hundred others don't show up and the boys are in their huddle prior to the first quarter and Beamer nudges Col and says, "Look mate, we're a little more light on than usual in the southern stand, maybe we better pull our finger out"?

Sending a message by not showing up is a bizarre concept that belongs in the lower divisions of English football.

Highly Amusing. But do you think the MFC really believes it is on notice? That is what worries me.

Players laughing at the end of thrashings is not the type of stuff that inspires me.

I can't make it this Sunday due to family commitments but can't say that I'm too unhappy about it. If I was free I would definitely be there though. Turning up to games now is what differentiates a barracker from a supporter. Anyone can turn up when we're winning it's times like this we need to continue to show up and support the club particularly with a new coach at the helm. Once you pay your admission fee (or scan your membership) you can yell and scream vent your frustration and hurl abuse all you want if you think it will help. But we need to keep turning up to support the club and let them know we are still there to hold them accountable.

Why should we turn up each week,when the players don't turn up each week to play.

Myself I,d rather stay at home and stick pins in my eyes,than watch a team that won't even have a crack.

Gotta practice the perserverence, resilliance and faith that we are expecting of the team. It's them being belted week in week out as we watch on. The least we can do is to continue to show faith in them.

Also, if we can knock off the Blues next week, this will have all been worth it. for a week or two.

Just upgraded to a Trident membership. Wonder who I'll meet at the Game? the club must communicate with the members, give its full support to Neeld and make sure there are no places for anyone to hide. We need to be smart in managing the media and make sure that Tighd K article is on every staff member's desk and every player's locker.

Daz, think yourself lucky you missed the early 80's & all of the 70's

This disappointment has a familiar feel to it!

Simply can't get my head around this has been allowed to happen again.

The only single remaining factor that is keeping me afloat in my love for this club is the memory of 1987.

The excitement & emotion was almost impossible to put in to words. I crave the next step of actually winning a GF.

Sadly I think we have another long & tortourus road ahead.

LMR I was there in the 70's and while we poor for long periods I do not remember ever feeling that we were going to get beaten by 10+goals every week.

There was at least 7-8 players that would give you some enjoyment as they played well.

We were at least in those days competitive with the bottom few sides.

I can honestly say I have never seen a MFC side as bad as this one.

a combination of the site giving me problems, busy weekend and despair.

How did you son hold up?

He was ready to go by half time, but I convinced him to stay for another quarter. He expected the loss, as did I, but neither of us expected them to go down without so much as a whimper - he actually said to me "we've lost this" when we were just half way through that first quarter :-).

We left at three quarter time and one of the things that struck me was the numbers of Swans supporters leaving the ground... speaks volumes for the kind of performance they were witnessing when they couldn't be arsed sticking around to savour the victory!

If you don't want to play for this team then spend the rest of the year at Casey "if they give you a game" then [censored] off. No matter how well they play at casey they don't get back in.

I've said this a few times now but the most exciting part of this year for us will be at seasons end during the trade period where Neeld gets to swing the axe for the first time.
