I am tossing up between Jordie McKenzie 13 and Jordan Gysberts 5 at the moment?

What does everyone else have? Many get 31 last year...??

After going to training today I was very impressed with Tom McDonald, might even go that way.

I'd steer away from #5, unless you want a jumper number that doesn't appear on the park in 2012. Neeld not a fan ATM.

I'd go with #8, #38, #35, even a #44.

I havent had a number on the back since the Wizard flew west, but will be getting the sewing machine out and stitching on a big 9 this year!

#31 - got caught up in the hype of a pretty scripted and cold media conference.

Thankfully i was a big Paul Wheatley fan.... :)

Number 4 is a certainty.

Mainly because being in the west and playing footy with a heap of WCE supporters who give me heaps on the Nic Nat vs Jack Watts comparison.

I wear my Melbourne gear to every training session.

Go Dee's!

Ed: I even throw in some blind-turns in the middle of lane work when no-one's around me. That really gets 'em going.

i think i will get 22 - love both Beamer and Sylvia but Beamer is a Demon right down to his little toes..

Love Col tho..

I was toying with either 9 or 31 after '09 draft. I eventually went with 9 mainly because Neitz was one of my favourite players. A decision I don't regret.

Personally got #8 last year, felt a good connection to Chip as I watch and heard him get bagged by many Melbourne fans early on but I defended him and felt he would become a good player for us.

But mostly I just love his game, he's one of the best defenders I've seen pull on the Red and Blue and he's going to get better.

9 and 13 are great choices, hopefully by the end of the year a few people will want to get 11.

I got 4 on my the guernsey I bought myself for my 60th birthday last year. First guernsey I've in nearly 50 years. And I wear it proudly. That boy is going to be a star for us.

Go Son-wear it with pride .I did the same when I could play .

Although Wattsy will be a champ .

The 9 guernsey will earn a Brownlow one day .

A blind turn around no apparent opponent and then slotting a goal also deserves an instant 3 votes .

funny you should say that. I was mocked for wearing a gurnsey & number by richmond fans whilst having a few pre game beers at the Transport last season! haha

My mates and I have a rule: Once you are older than the eldest player on the field, no football jumpers to be worn and especially one with a number.

I wear the Melbourne Jacket that the coaches wear.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
