I notice no Mark Neeld getting involved, unlike Bails in previous years.

I guess he doesnt want to seem like he is having too much fun.

Great job!

Very entertaining...

But does anyone know where Jones is? Or can I just not see him?

I love that we bring out a video every year. Makes my Christmas!

I liked last years better. But its good this one has a theme to it. It would be great to get 40,000 members. Not fussed mark Neeld isnt in it. It isnt his job to be in the christmas video. I remember reading in that herald sun article last week he said who will play santa because im not doing it. Bails was at the club for a couple of years. Mark has only been ther a few months. Im sure he will be in next years.

But very creative.

Very cool. I like it ,as much as i did the "Happy Happy Joy Joy" song!!

The coach said he was already busy when it was to be shot, maybe on purpose!

Possibly, but even if perceptions didn't come into it - I don't think he is the type of personality to get involved in this sort of thing.

I'm fine with a coach deciding either way.

Makes me sick watching this rubbish.

Maybe good for kids but that's about it.

No wonder we are perceived as a 'school boy', 'soft' and 'nice' club.

You never see clubs like Collingwood doing this and it's pretty clear why we didn't see Neeld featured.

I'm all for Christmas cheer but seriously. It's a crock of S*^t.

That was horrible.

Yep, it's in the top five most horrible things I've seen in 2011. The other four being: 186, R6 vs West Coast, our last three quarters R8 vs North and the 88 point pounding from Collingwood R12.

Thought Aaron Davey was really struggling over the last 2 metres of that final sprint.

So many sad, grumpy people on here.

Lighten up, for goodness sake, it's just a bit of fun.

I hope you all get laid for Christmas. Might make you less uptight.

Geez!

That was rubbish.

Wonder if Jack Watts was absent due to his focus on fulfilling his potential ;)

Let the Guys have a bit of fun will you!! They no full well how hard and brutal January is going to be.

Bit of Christmas spirit doesn't hurt. As Jaded says "get laid please"...

Geez!

Nothing wrong with making a video, but at least do it well or with some structure. Watching Cale Morton dance like a [censored] doesn't promote the club, no matter how much "fun" the team had.

i found it quite funny! cale morton made me laugh for sure!

It's all good stuff. Membership is made up of far more than the die hards here. It will appeal to all ages and genders, and so it should. The fact that I as a grumpy old fart also liked it is a bonus for me.

THE ACCIDENTAL DEMONS by The Oracle

In the space of eight days, the Melbourne Football Club’s plans for the coming year were turned upside down by two season-ending injuries to players who were contending strongly for places in its opening round match against the GWS Giants. Shane McAdam was first player to go down with injury when he ruptured an Achilles tendon at Friday afternoon training, a week before the cut-off date for the AFL’s pre-season supplemental selection period (“SSP”). McAdam was beginning to get some real mom

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the

We'll break down the Match SIM against North Melbourne and wrap up the preseason with insights into training and our latest recruits. I apologize for skipping our annual season review show at the end of last season. After a disapponting season filled with off-field antics and a heated trade week, I needed a break. Thankfully, the offseason has recharged me, and I’m back—ready t
