A fit McKenzie, Scully and Trengove make all the difference.

Yes I'm deliberately including young Jordie in their bracket, because I think he is just as important going forward. Maybe not as talented, but by gee he makes up for it with intent.

Gysberts says hello. 30 disposals again and elite hands in close. As good as Scully's.

Those 4 playing together = win contested possession = win games.

But for me tonight McKenzie typified what we have been lacking. He worked like a maniac and hunted that ball like his life depended on it.

God I love Jordie.

Like Jonesy, he actually loves the hardball and wants to go in a feel the hard hit! LOVE IT!

Gysberts, Scully, Trengove, Mckenzie is a great young midfield to work on. Add Morton on a wing (who i really liked tonight) + Bail, Grimes, Nicholson, Evans = a lot of young midfield talent to add to Moloney, Jones and Sylvia.

I am just watching the early third Q - he is an absolute machine.

His second efforts are just amazing - if everyone played like Jordie we would be world beaters.

A genuine on field leader.

Having the SculGove back tonight meant that Gys could run a little bit outside at some times. Noticed he's a brilliant kick on the run - 2 laser passes into the forward line. Yep, missed the goal, but showed what can happen when we get our best on-ballers together.
