I think this idea might get mixed responses but would anyone like to see Travis Johnstone come back?

I for one hated that we got rid of him in the first place and would like to see him back in the red and blue.It will probably never happen.

PS:Sorry if this has already been discussed but this is my first post on this website.

Sorry Timmy but it is not a great idea.

Travis Johnstone was a player who failed to get the best out of himself consistenly at 2 clubs.

In the meantime we have just retired our captain who gave 100% for his whole career to make way for a spot on the list for a young player.

Would make absolutely no sense.

The romantic in me wouldn't mind it, the realist thinks its stupid. I wouldn't storm down the club if they did do it.

Troll troll is troll. A newbie named Timmy? Come on. As for Travis, I don't think so, although I'm pretty sure we could put him straight on the Veterans List.

hahahaha I'm not a troll was just wondering if anyone would like him to come back.

Thanks for welcoming me and yes I shall read this forum.Glad I could amuse some of you as well.

It's funny because he is the only player in the AFL 'who can replace the spot left by Bruce' because he is eligible for the VL.

But I would prefer to bring back Macca.

If we want to fill the second vet role then it's between Macca and TJ.

I wonder whether we would consider playing him in a leadership role with Casey? Any thoughts?

TJ with the gameboy maturity...Ugh  <<Smacks forehead>>.

TJ is still my favourite player in the AFL. Would love to see him in the Red and Blue next year!

TJ is no longer an AFL player....time to move on and find a new favourite ;)

Yeah, the reaction has been a bit harsh on the thread starter, but Travis Johnstone is well past his best and that was highly inconsistent.

He was also never a 'leader' in any sense that we'd want at the club.

Shane Woewodin would still be fitter, smarter, and have more to offer...

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
