  1. I'm unfortunately thinking the Power will get up by around a 5-goal margin. Still not confident when we travel. Added to that is Port's far superior quality in the middle (besides Lobbe, where we NEED Spencer to dominate if a chance). In any case... go Dees.
  2. Carn Dees - for my b'day weekend PLEASE! Will be a good test for the boys coming off a stirring win to see if we can go back-to-back wins for the first time in 4 years!
  3. Don't understand the lack of love for Georgiou at all. He has football smarts and actually peels off his own man to help out his teammates to gain an advantage. He has done NOTHING wrong in my book. Solid in defence. Team player. Need more of guys like this. - JKH would have to be on the cusp but he has moments of brilliance that makes me want to remain in the side! Has had 1 full game in the seniors. Give him another gig vs GCS. - Terlich a hammy is out. Had he not done the hammy I would've kept him in the squad anyway. Like Georgiou... need men like Dean on the park. Offers nothing but aggression, physicality and head over ball-mongrel, contested-bravery. How about those for choice of words??? - I want to see one of Jetta or Bleasey come in. Whoever has the better game at Casey today. Who for? Maybe an Evans. And that is it. We had 22 guys play their role vs Carlton. As such, they should be rewarded for effort - just like the Casey boys if they want to come in to the seniors.
  4. 53 points. Massive effort by the lads today to get the W.
  5. Good remark. Easy to think Round 1 is next week!! Still 4 weeks from the season proper which is ample time for Hogan and Viney to be ready and firing! Ditto Dawes.... maybe. Jury is seriously out on his calf issue Garland... should be ready a week prior to Round 1 perhaps. Clark.... no
  6. Braved the blustery and cold conditions to attend this! I too am excited... but I can't help but feel a little less optimistic with those worse-than-grey clouds hovering above Clark and Dawes. Those too are PIVOTAL to an all encompassing forward structure when 100% fit, yes? They are key! Short-term pain, long-term gain? It seems to be all about match fitness and conditioning for those two now... happy to see them rehab and train hard until Round 5 if need be. then play a stint at Casey. Hard work ahead still. Cannot be rushed by any means.
  7. Missing a ruckman... or will Clark fill that for you? Max Gawn and Fitzy have done nothing wrong.
  8. I know I feel obliged to follow Casey (just as I was to Sandy once upon a time). I take a keen interest in the Dees' VFL affiliate Casey because that's where our boys play!
  9. Wow. Big out's for Cats. In the scheme of things, it won't reallyt matter though...
  10. He should have been out anyway...
  11. Come on, Casey boys!! Keep it up! Nice to hear Viney doing himself justice I want to see Watts back next week to impose himself a bit more and Jurrah under lights as well!
  12. Something like this... something a bit more refreshed: Thoughts...? In particular from the mods.
  13. Being the designer-head that I am, I dislike the clutter of all the players in the current banner, so I'm using the idea of a select few (young) players (maybe four?) on the banner but the images will therefore be alot bigger etc.
  14. Because I designed 85% of the current banner, I'm going to have a crack at designing a new one taking all suggestions on board. NOTE: Am replacing Jim Stynes as I believe he has looked over the club enough... and it's now time for the playing group to step the frig up!!
