3) Jamar

2.5) Moloney

2) Garland

1.5) Davey

1) Morton

0.5) Jones (some will disagree but gets votes for that critical goal and a gutsy smother in the 2nd half)

So proud of the boys. We'll wake up tomorrow happy that we took some points.

Edit - on reflection, Bartram stiff to miss out and probably should replace Jones for the last vote.

3-Mark Jamar

1.5-Cale Morton (Yeah I know I have said some things about him, but he really impressed me today, in the second half he was awsome, I am glad to be proven wrong)

0.5-Colin Graland (Good denfensive forward role and Shaw)

6. Jamar (I'm not giving Moloney top votes because without Jamar, Moloney would struggle to win so much of the ball)

5. Moloney

4. Morton

3. Garland

2. Frawley

1. Bartram

Our backline saved us today. They were on fire!

6. Davey - stunning performance. Near enough the best player in the AFL.

5. Jamar - commitment personified.

Nice numbering system :)

3> Jamar - herculean effort. I've never been resentful of Jolly leaving, but I can't help but smile seeing Jamar pants him twice in one year.

2.5> Moloney - I had great difficulty splitting these two. Massive effort.

2> Garland - Welcome back. Did absolutely everything right today. What a gem.

1.5> Morton - How many times did he get free by half a paddock? Amazing stuff. Not a big accumulator of the ball, but extremely damaging when he gets it.

1> Davey

0.5> Scully

Lots of others considered. I found the top 4 easy to pick, and could've thrown a blanket over another 10 for the next two.

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,

    GALLANT by KC from Casey

The world “gallant” is not one that is readily acceptable to losing teams in our game of football so when it was used in the context of the Casey Demons’ loss to Sandringham in yesterday’s match at Casey Fields, it left a bitter taste in the mouth.  The Demons went into the game against the St Kilda affiliated Zebras with the advantage of playing on their home turf (not that this has been a major asset in 2024) and with very little else going in their favour. The Saints have close to a full

    MEANWHILE by Whispering Jack

… meanwhile, at about the same time that Narrm was putting its feet on the accelerator to obliterate the long-suffering Euro-Yroke combination, I heard someone mention in passing that Kuwarna was leading Waalitj Marawar by a whopping 46 to 1 halfway through the second quarter of their game over in Adelaide. “What is football coming to?” I asked myself.  In front of my eyes, the Demons were smashing it through the midfield, forcing turnovers and getting the footy to their forwards who w
