NON-MFC: Round 14

Featured Replies

Round 14 is upon us and there's plenty at stake across the rest of the competition. As Melbourne heads to Adelaide, it's time to turn our attention to the other matches of the Round. Which teams are you tipping this week? And which results would be most favourable for the Demonsโ€™ finals tilt? Follow all the non-Melbourne games here and join the conversation as the ladder continues to take shape.

i'd be tipping:

  • dogs

  • crom?

  • bears?

  • puddy tatts

  • flagmantle

  • them?

  • baggers

obviously i'd love it if we could flip our result, as well as if meth coke, kangas, and meth coke could all get up

Saints v dogs on form is a lot closer than the odds suggest

Darcy back could be the difference

Thanks goodness Kozzie is taking all the focus away from the โ€œ How did we lose to the Saintsโ€ mob. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Saints Fuccing Kilda, the same team we couldn't put away 2 weeks ago.

Dogs putting them to the sword because they actually have tall forwards to kick to and finish their work off.

The search for a Tall Forward continues.........

Is Darcy playing? you wouldnโ€™t know by the commentary.

ollie lord, playing sanfl this week so we can get a good look at him

Geez it would be nice to have Darcy in our forward line.

Reckon we would have won a couple more premierships if we did.

Pitty.

Doggies luck with talent continues. They are doing all of this without a number draft pick in JUH.

Arguably playing with the comps best player in Bont, best Forward in Darcy and best HBer in Dale. Talent all over the park. Add to this Dale Libba and Richardโ€™s who are very capable too.

Darcy has an unfair advantage- should have to play on his knees

They are just saying on fox when he extends the arms up he's over 3 metres. He's great to watch. Dogs are so lucky to have him.

You could make an argument that the loss to St Kilda was worse than the North game in round 2, given what was at stake and how talent-less St Kilda is.

Normal service resumed. That dud Dan Butler has hardly touched the ball up forward & the Saints are playing average football .

Yep. Damage has been done though, they played their game for the year against us, and we handed them the win on a silver platter filled with points!!!

So annoying watching the saints get pumped. The loss to the pies, as hard as it was given we could have won it, would have been easier to take had we just beaten the saints as pretty much every other decent team does!!! Weโ€™d only be a game and percentage out of the 8, and i think we can beat port this week.

GAHHHHHHHHHHHH ๐Ÿ˜ค

ย

meanwhile the mighty demons have moved up a spot on the ladder!!

weโ€™re back baby!

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFLโ€™s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.ย
