The best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be!

I think everyone should lay off Trac and when he gets that first touch round 1 I hope everyone gets up and claps him. Make him remember just how much he is loved at the Dees. It’s a supporters job to support.

I will put my hand up though and say that during all the turmoil I did feel like turning on him…. But as the dust settles it’s time to change the focus!

Ok, again, I am not trying to argue against voicing that opinion on Demonland, I am trying to argue against that opinion wherever it is voiced.

Presumably, I am reaching people that live in the real world? That might impact even in a small way the proliferation of the toxic and tedious environment that has been created…

I hear ya rpfc but it is the silly season so if someone wants to make a pantomime villain out of a sports personality that's been a bit of a tw@t I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.

Surely no one is booing him? The Brand has his faults but his incredible professionalism and drive make him our most important puzzle piece. To boo him would be ridiculous to the extreme.

I was worried about the media proliferating the Trac BS all year but who needs them when you have DL

He almost dies, yet comes back to pre-season in the best shape out of any player on our list.

ummmmmm……..hand me some brand Petracca!

Sure, but here on the forum dedicated to this team we all love - we like to keep good players at club yeah? Some on here lost sleep over who we took with the 3rd last pick in the draft…

Pantomime is a participatory type of theatre so we have our part to play don’t we…

Kolt might be up there with Kozzie as king of the kids!

He was great with the kids at the race on game day last year, always had time for the little ones, always very engaging.

If you've pencilled in that nickname for the rest of next season, maybe in the interest of fairness you can pencil in Clarry as the "[censored] Cat" or "The Fresh Start" too? (to be doubly annoying)

For me this easy.

Full = 100% & 1/2 of 100% is 50%. AKA half full

Empty = 0 (or 0%). 1/2 of 0 is still 0. AKA half nothing

Hit me up if you want to know the meaning of life 😉

These bloody glasses can be looked at in three ways.

optimist: the glass is half fulL.

pessimist: the glass is half empty.

realist: I need a refill.

I’ll just stick to The Brand

When Tracc wins the Norm again in our 2025 flag, a few on here should be feeling a bit sheepish about everything.

we'll be able to ask the pies for 4x top 10 picks if this happens 😉

When are the players back training in Melbourne?

What the hell is going on here? People are talking about brands. Who cares? I'm only interested in football. I don't care about what he can sell. He is professional enough to do that. I suspect he has had a reality check and will get down to business. Remember, everyone has disagreements with their employer, friends, or family. This is the same.

This 🤮is still available.  Quite fitting for some posts in this thread.

Indeed.. but also at times unsuited whereas facepalm is apt in a multitude of posts

It’d become boring talking about Trac and questioning he’s every move.. let him climb the mountain of getting back to fitness along with his mental ability of putting his body online, I’m sure all of us would be struggling to deal with this!

Trac is just stage managing his first #godees picture tugging at his jumper kicking a goal round one .

    Of course, it’s not the backline, you might argue and you would probably be right. It’s the boot studder (do they still have them?), the midfield, the recruiting staff, the forward line, the kicking coach, the Board, the interchange bench, the supporters, the folk at Casey, the head coach and the club psychologist  It’s all of them and all of us for having expectations that were sufficiently high to have believed three weeks ago that a restoration of the Melbourne team to a position where we might still be in contention for a finals berth when the time for the midseason bye arrived. Now let’s look at what happened over the period of time since Melbourne overwhelmed the Sydney Swans at the MCG in late May when it kicked 8.2 to 5.3 in the final quarter (and that was after scoring 3.8 to two straight goals in the second term).

  • CASEY: Essendon

    Casey’s unbeaten run was extended for at least another fortnight after the Demons overran a persistent Essendon line up by 29 points at ETU Stadium in Port Melbourne last night. After conceding the first goal of the evening, Casey went on a scoring spree from about ten minutes in, with five unanswered majors with its fleet of midsized runners headed by the much improved Paddy Cross who kicked two in quick succession and livewire Ricky Mentha who also kicked an early goal. Leading the charge was recruit of the year, Riley Bonner while Bailey Laurie continued his impressive vein of form. With Tom Campbell missing from the lineup, Will Verrall stepped up to the plate demonstrating his improvement under the veteran ruckman’s tutelage. The Demons were looking comfortable for much of the second quarter and held a 25-point lead until the Bombers struck back with two goals in the shadows of half time. On the other side of the main break their revival continued with first three goals of the half. Harry Sharp, who had been quiet scrambled in the Demons’ first score of the third term to bring the margin back to a single point at the 17 minute mark and the game became an arm-wrestle for the remainder of the quarter and into the final moments of the last.
