We know the stands won’t be empty coz Collingwood. They outnumber us every time be it our home game or theirs.

Ordinarily it is what it is. But this time it doesn’t have to be.

While we can never hope to outnumber them, surely we can give it everything we’ve got in terms of Dees presence.

I’m not above begging… please if you are able to come, please do so. It really matters for so many reasons, all very important.

But for mine the most important reason is this: win or lose, if the boys see and hear us thereby knowing there’s a lot of love and support despite the terrible season we’ve had, it will take them into the the off- and pre-season with so much more belief and confidence and that will go a long ways in our 2025 campaign. How do I know this? I just do. 🤨

This is what I said to a friend this morning when she told me she won’t be there… “If you just won a competition, the prize being a date with Brad Pitt this Friday night you’d be available, right?” She said, “Yes, of course!” I said, “Well there’s no competition and you don’t have a date with Brad Pitt therefore you’re free to attend the match.” And guess what??? She’s now gonna attend the match!

Hard to get excited about this one. No chance of finals for either team.  We had a good morale boosting win last week.

Beating the Pies won't make up for last year even a little bit.  

But by Friday I should be able to muster up the excitement

Chances are very good, CJ. It’s our home game which means more tickets available. If you’re interested in sitting in our bay (M3) you can email:

M3 is a dry bay so if that’s not suitable the bays on either side (M2 and M4) might be better. These bays aren’t solely for Dees fans but we love getting as many of our own into them, especially against a team like Collingwood because Collingwood. 

I also have two general admission barcodes (1 adult and 1 junior) that someone can have for free.

I would love to come but I live in WA :(

I disagree with this sentiment wholeheartedly. ANB has given his all for this club, was told he wasn't needed and out his head down and worked his [censored] off to become a key cog in our premiership side and a leader of the team. He has legitimate reasons to want to return to SA after repaying the club, it's not like a young rookie walking out on the club that draft him after one or two years.

Still lots of tickets on level 1 of AFL Members. A dead giveaway of a small crowd for a Collingwood game. I reckon 55k. Tops.

I'm glad it's our home game so I don't have sit anywhere near the puddle drinkers. If only I didn't have to breathe the same air as them for three hours.

We'll obviously never outnumber the filth but I hope we can get some real volume going to stir our lads on!

The club helped make him the man he is today and now he is in the form of his career. I would have liked him to continue to repay the club

Mate, if he was an accountant at KPMG, and had a young family and chose to go back to Adelaide to work for PwC, do you reckon anyone would say he owes KPMG because they paid him to do his job for 10 years?

Listened to one of Max's interviews on the club Web sites post signing interviews and he reflected back to our finish of the 2020 season beating GWS and Essendon and how it gave us something to build on for 2021.  I was at Carrara for that game and remember thinking that we weren't as far off as people thought either.  Incidently @DubDee, ANB had a cracker that day, but was a frindge player at the time and many would have been happy to delist him for nothing, just to free up a list spot, so I hardly think he owes the supporter base anything.

I'll be going tomorrow night with both my kids, the youngest of which is a BBB fan and has the number 50 on his back, which he will be wearing with great pride.  I'll also be thankful to ANB for his great service to the club and with Trent Rivers 100, there are plenty of reasons to attend.

Above all else, I really hope we give Collingwood the end to their season they deserve and given we are on dead even percentage, we'll also finish above them on the ladder for good measure.

If you can't see the difference between KPMG and a football club, I'm not sure I can help you. Can't remember KPMG have 90K fans cheer them on when their annual financial results were released. The emotion in footy is why we love it

Nope, there are 6 tickets left for sale on level 1 and they have sold all of level 4 front in 13/15 bays. crowd will be somewhere between 55-60k 

I know that unfortunately there are many fans who support Melbourne and other clubs who are discouraged from attending Collingwood games because the ratio of ratbag-to-regular supporters in Collingwood ranks is so out of whack that they make the game an unpleasant experience.

This is as true in the MCC members as elsewhere. And it has become a self fulfilling observation as more and more stay away, the rat-baggery of Pies people deepens and is not challenged.

That's why it's important those who can get there, do so. Me included, with immediate family, but sadly others in our Demon network will be absent.
