How much of this can be attributed to the Max Factor?

I think a lot. Reckon a few conversations have been going on & Max probably said I need your help to get us back up the ladder.

Every Melbourne supporter should and will be happy that Trac is not leaving.
Equally I think we are entitled to be disappointed with how these last few weeks played out.

It was never necessary for this to spill into the media and become a MFC vs Petracca showdown, where ultimately both our club and his brand were dragged through the mud.

I hope we can move on from this and turn our attention and focus to fixing the problems that need to be fixed.

Not the least bit disappointed.  The only ones disappointed are those who fall for the absolute bile that the pathetic media spews forth. This was never a story. No footy for a week? Let's create a frenzy. Media is now 1% fact the rest tripe. My 1% assessment is generous. As for the 'problems' no more than any other club .You've fallen for the media narrative again.

After our meditation session and a special mushroom risotto,

I drove Trac down to Guildford  and we summoned the spirit of RDB.

I threatened to put on my old Buffalo Springfield albums.

That was enough to get him to commit.

Hes sleeping off the Risotto in the greenhouse .

In him the force strong will be.

I think if he had his time again, he’d realise he hasn’t gone about this the right way. I think his passion got away from him a bit here. He almost died though, so I tend to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Blokes in their 20’s, regardless of their position in life, are liable to the odd bad emotionally-driven decision.

But this quote from him is music to my ears. These are the type of individuals that propel clubs forward. This is leadership of the highest order.

He's done absolutely nothing wrong. He can't be blamed for the masses consuming absurd media and falling for it.

I think end of next year will be very, very interesting.

I personally suspect this has only occurred due to the inability for a trade to be facilitated and the subsequent realisation. Either way, there is a lot of work to be done from both the Petracca camp and the MFC to reconcile and authentically repair relationships.

Yep.

Next year is a still big watch for me. Only takes for Collingwood to have their 1st rounder in place and then who knows.

This isn't over.

I think Trac should leave.  He almost died and now the club is backgrounding the press to take down his reputation.  Vintage MFC.  It's a weak club run by weak people.  We have a long history of exporting players who go on to have better careers elsewhere and Trac will be no different.  I hope he goes somewhere that wraps there arms around him warts and all and let him play his best footy.   I love the club but save for norm smith getting sacked this has been the darkest week in the clubs history.

And you can now crawl back under your rock you Collingwood [censored].

If you think this has not harmed our brand and the perception people have of our club, you’re an absolute fool and you don’t understand anything about the importance of brand management.

Anytime your club is in the news for failing to manage a star player, whether true or not, it is damaging. It creates a perception that we are poorly run and have a poor culture.

Bury your head in the sand all you like, but the bottom line is, this club has been in the news for all the wrong reasons over the past 12 months and that is not good for sponsors, membership numbers or attracting players from other clubs.

Now maybe the football media can start asking some questions about how the pies, the team every journ seemed to think was miles ahead of every other team last year, and set for a dynasty, missed  the finals this year.

Drinking their own bathwater?

Culture issue?

And perhaps ask why they allowed pednles to play with broken ribs foe two weeks

Maybe an article about why noble has requested a trade?

What about their list management - a third of their best 22 are 30 or over.

Perhpas Whately's sanctimony bazooka can be turned on them.

Do we need to help Brand Petracca with getting this thread to above Watts and Hogan page count?  It's the least we should be doing as supporters :D

I’d just like to come out and say I couldn’t orchestrate a trade and it is with unbridled enthusiasm I commit to the Demons

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
