No idea if he can coach, didn’t do much to inspire with his opportunity. Chucked the veterans on ball to help win a few games.

But the Hardwick endorsement holds some weight.

And the Richmond fast ball movement is something we badly need a good dose.

The biggest McQuestion is what line does he take care of? Midfield would be favourite but forwards or backs shouldn’t be ruled out.

Great news!

This is what coaching and renewing game plans snd new staff are great.  A new voice and ideas. Haven't heard of any other changes but will be furious if no forward  coach change is made. I personally would have been happy for Andrew to be the new forward coach

Let's wait and see.

Highly rated by Hardwick and Ross Lyon. St Kilda wanted him.

He was involved in 3 flags at Richmond.
Hardwick left a sinking ship. What did you expect him to do with a list as old as time?

Fantastic. I was hoping this happened. In all his interviews on 360 I was thoroughly impressed with his reasoning and ability to see the game. IMO he compliments Goodwin. Great fit.

10 years at Richmond, knows success inside and out and hugely respected by the playing group.

Fantastic appointment. Hoping he brings that flair and run that made Richmond so famous when they were successful.

Terrific news for MFC, I really enjoyed him on 360 as well, my wife said last week I think that we will get McQualter and I said that would be a great result but I doubt we will be that lucky. Wahooo.!!

Welcome Mini. Have a feeling it's a really good get. Our first CGS student as an MFC coach too.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
