Are we actually the fittest team, like Binman (or George?) says? 37 points to 3 from late in the 3rd. What a performance!

Magnificent win !!!!  We toughed it out finals style!

Fritta - he's back ! What an effort. Fairy tale stuff.  Simply outstanding.

Melky - sadly a question mark.

Umpiring - inconsistent.

That Grand Old Flag a coming .  I can feel it in my nethers.

Haha I wish you’d keep your hand off your nethers, BBO.

Devastated for Melksham.

Bloody hope it’s not as bad as it looks. He’s absolutely earned his place in this team and we need his dynamism 👌

Best win of the season in a finals like atmosphere / cauldron.  So much CHARACTER!

The belief, the will to win. Most teams would have stuck the cue in the rack. Not us.

2 years on from the famous night in Geelong too, it's in the blood.

That's one of my favorite wins for long time.

A team with such pride in the jumper that instead of taking the easy, cruisy path, as highlighted in the fox stats noted above, they dug in and said, nup, the dees win.

Just fantastic.

I am so proud to be a dees fans.

I’ve never done my ACL, but I have torn the meniscus in my knee and, for what it’s worth, it looked exactly like what Melksham did.

Avatars are funny. After reading that I was visualising George Bluth Sr. playing AFL and doing his meniscus.

Sublime.

Judd McVees defensive capability was brilliant. I always loved Nev Jetta and I see similarities with McVee's one on one defence but his ability to drive on transition is at another level.

Same here but I couldn't walk . Milk was walking on the boundary for a little without a clear limp.

So hopefully he's ok but as Jaded pointed out, he hugged Goody.

Maybe it was an all good embrace

You can't understate how impressive that win is.

Swans were playing for a home final and had the emotional motivation of Buddy's farewell behind them. They were all over us in that third quarter and we slowly worked our way back into the match. Full credit to our leaders in Petracca, Gawn and Viney who kickstarted the fightback.

Gotta mention Laurie as well. Had some important touches when he came on for Melk.

This.
While I lost 10 years off my life watching player after player go down injured, they just went “watch this” and won.
We are so lucky to support this team!

I love stories like this haha.

When your half deaf (seriously) like me, you do rely on lip reading and emotions a lot. Anyway we will see.

No touching!

Outstanding win.  Belief, determination, strength and class. Petracca, Fritsch, Viney, May, ANB just huge!!

Many others too, including the coach.

Bring on September. It's our time!

Agreed.

All week the media talk was about port winning and us resting players and not caring.

We're not that kind of team and I love it. Well done to the coaching staff and the players.

Garry Lyon reckons one of our most impressive wins of the season, not far off I reckon.

Wish it was just little more bruise free!

That team walking off the ground had the look of a team that knows it can win the flag.

I never want us to play bruise free footy ever again

It's a win that just makes you 'feel'. That's all I can really say.

Finally we see what it really means to wear the jumper.
