rjay 25,424 Posted July 24, 2023 Posted July 24, 2023 He would be the ideal candidate for the Tiges job... If they give him the support Hardwick got then it will be a prime gig. If they revert to the old pre Peggy/Gale Tiges then it will be fraught. Good luck Adem... Quote
Tracca 862 Posted July 24, 2023 Posted July 24, 2023 He deserves a shot. Hopefully he gets his opportunity Quote

YearOfTheDees 3,266 Posted July 24, 2023 Posted July 24, 2023 Surely unless they totally drop away McQualter get the job full time. Quote
Deefender 254 Posted July 24, 2023 Posted July 24, 2023 Yze might be better placed to bide his time at the Dees rather than coach interstate or coach ‘no hopers.’ Quote
Dee Zephyr 19,312 Posted July 24, 2023 Posted July 24, 2023 Yze made his debut against Richmond, it would be cool if his first senior gig was with them. Quote
Katrina Dee Fan 4,077 Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 I don't want to lose him....:( 2 Quote

Roost it far 10,152 Posted August 24, 2023 Posted August 24, 2023 I’m not fussed if he moves on. Fresh coaching perspective’s are great for teams at the top 8 Quote
Supreme_Demon 4,144 Posted August 24, 2023 Posted August 24, 2023 I wish Adem Yze all the best with this opportunity at the Tigers. My only request would be that any senior AFL coaching role he takes on isn't until the Demons finals compaign is concluded. 5 1 Quote
Jibroni 5,058 Posted August 24, 2023 Posted August 24, 2023 Really hope he gets it, would be a great fit for the Tigers. 2 Quote
DubDee 26,679 Posted August 24, 2023 Posted August 24, 2023 Good luck Ooze Hope he gets his chance. Reckon there is somewhat of a time limit to get a senior gig 3 Quote
rjay 25,424 Posted August 24, 2023 Posted August 24, 2023 I'm not sure this is good one for him as the Tiges are heading backwards. ..but if any role comes up I guess you have to take it. 8 Quote
Dingo 1,183 Posted August 24, 2023 Posted August 24, 2023 Has he had any experience re-building a struggling team? 1 Quote

He’s never coached his own team before, the only candidate that hasn’t. Could be what stops him getting the gig in the end, who knows. If it is the reason, he’ll no doubt look to do this asap, as candidates regularly publicised only have a small window to capitalise and get a gig, especially with so many assistant coaches in the system, so he may well be on the move anyway… I remember Brian Royal came second about 4-5 times and eventually was off the potential candidate list never to coach at the highest level. Peter Sumich also a number of times. Edited August 24, 2023 by Glorious Day 2 Quote
bluey 1,123 Posted August 24, 2023 Posted August 24, 2023 Seriously, who would coach us if he departs, Buckley would be a great get if he wishes to become reinvolved. 2 Quote
