[censored] sick of this team. We’re not a contender this year.

What list changes do we make over summer to get back into contention?

The coach for starters.

Have u ever seen such lazy unaccountable players who don’t run…

how can Clarrie watch such tripe?!!!

i’m not sure how bad this looks on tv, but it’s appalling here

 fast breaks, short kicks

 make lever accountable

any thought, Goody? Any changes to ring?

CORRIDOR

How is Petty still on? Too late to sub him out now.

This is pathetic. No other words.

Bring back the thread is Goodwin the right guy.

Defense is dead.

I am lucky I saw us win in 2021, but I was hoping we could do this again at the G. But in wont be in 2023.

Take out the opening burst and we are getting a football lesson from a far superior team. Some of our skill errors have been horrendous and Goodwin seems helpless to change anything. Jordon all but invisible, hopeful long bombs into the forward line yet again, Van Rooyen anonymous, Petty struggling against Daniher. I could go on and on. Unless Goody can come up with a counter to this onslaught our percentage is going to take a battering.

Do we have a coach?

Do we have any on field brains?

Rest Clarry and Fritta for the rest of the year till the new coach takes over. SHIZZEN GOODY NO FRIGGEN IDEA

Just now, leave it to deever said:

We are so slow down back.

Come on Goody. Wake up.

Shocking by coaches and selectors

Can we at least try to keep this close? What is it with the lions now deciding they’re going to play on the G when it’s against us?? Joe is a doofus and he’s turned it up tonight. So annoying.

Would someone mind posting Sandringham line timetable?

Petty was badly injured last week, yet he still gets a game despite hobbling around out there tonight while Tomlinson watches on.

For those in the back, 2022 was ruined by awful list management, so will 2023.

[censored] off Goodwin and all the staff that thought playing Petty for an extra 30minutes longer than needed.

This is a [censored] joke, Goodwin has literally stated he plays hurt players and it's [censored] our season.

Get that joke of a fitness coach out of the club.

I’m interstate… Can someone remind me what our forward half looks like?

  • POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Gold Coast

The Demons did not come to play from the opening bounce and let the Gold Coast kick the first 5 goals of the match. They then outscored the Suns for the next 3 quarters but it was too little too late and their season is now effectively over.

  • PREVIEW: Gold Coast

The Gold Coast Suns find themselves outside of the top eight for the first time since Round 1 with pressure is mounting on the entire organisation. Their coach Damien Hardwick expressed his frustration at his team’s condition last week by making a middle-finger gesture on television that earned him a fine for his troubles. He showed his desperation by claiming that Fox should pick up the tab.  There’s little doubt the Suns have shown improvement in 2025, and their position on the ladder is influenced to some extent by having played fewer games than their rivals for a playoff role at the end of the season, courtesy of the disruption caused by Cyclone Alfred in March.  However, they are following the same trajectory that hindered the club in past years whenever they appeared to be nearing their potential. As a consequence, that Hardwick gesture should be considered as more than a mere behavioral lapse. It’s a distress signal that does not bode well for the Queenslanders. While the Suns are eager to remain in contention with the top eight, Melbourne faces its own crisis, which is similarly deep-seated but in a much different way. After recovering from a disappointing start to the season and nearing a return to respectability among its peer clubs, the Demons have experienced a decline in status, driven by the fact that while their form has been reasonable (see their performance against the ladder leader in the Kings Birthday match), their conversion in front of goal is poor enough to rank last in the competition. Furthermore, their opponents find them exceptionally easy to score against. As a result, they have effectively eliminated themselves from the finals race and are again positioned to finish in the bottom half of the ladder.
