Lost at selection again JVR Is more suited to wet weather than brown, 27 more inside 50s just a pathetic performance put a fork in us we are done forget top 4 could even miss the 8

    ANB is a momentum killer

    Runs hard, does lots of 1%ers, can't kick, turns it over at critical times, fumbles incessantly, terrible below the knees for a small forward

    This could well be the nail in the coffin of our season. 
    Lost the 4 points and our solitary reliable goal kicker for maybe the season.

    Predictable and pathetic. Laughable that people were upset last night about the Bombers losing hurting our top 2 chances.

    When you're coming off the ground at halftime and Gus says our game is looking good offensively and we've kicked 2 goals 9, i reckon theres an issue with accepting mediocrity. 

    Not sure we will be able to make finals from here. How mark stafford still has a job is beyond me.

    Anyone who thinks we are still genuine flag contenders this year is dreaming. 73 inside 50s for 5 goals 🤦🏻‍♂️. Even in the conditions this is putrid.

    This is getting absolutely embarrassing. I reckon we will almost certainly get touched by St Kilda next week for 3 losses in a row.

    BBB did ok considering the conditions want to see him with jvr and gawn Grundy leading to positions our main forwards are not. It's basic forward play.

    Why didn’t Lever or Trac stand on the mark for Kelly mark. If Lever just stands the mark he kicks from 75m.

      As the focus of the AFL moves exclusively to South Australia for Gather Round, the question is raised as to what are we going to get from the  Melbourne Football Club this weekend? Will it be a repeat of the slop fest of the last three weeks that have seen the team score a measly 174 points and concede 310 or will a return to the City of Churches and the scene where they performed at their best in 2024 act as a wakeup call and bring them out of their early season reverie?  Or will the sleepy Dees treat their fans to a reenactment of their lazy effort from the first Gather Round of two years ago when they allowed the Bombers to trample all over them on a soggy and wet Adelaide Oval? The two examples from above tell us how fickle form can be in football. Last year, a committed group of players turned up in Adelaide with a businesslike mindset. They had a plan, went in confidently and hard for the football and kicked winning scores against both home teams in a difficult environment for visitors. And they repeated that sort of effort later in the season when they played Essendon at the MCG.
