Roost it far 10,136 Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 So what happens when you have eyes only for the ball but smack someone in the head? 1 Quote
Deestinga2 83 Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 If there is no injury or concussion, then how is it even a reportable offence? Fox footy said that he has no issues just a bit sore in the neck area, surely its just free kick for high contact then. 1 1 Quote

Clintosaurus 7,953 Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 Get [censored]. Where is Chols suspension? 7 2 Quote
The Corridor 119 Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 I know we have a track record of not challenging arguable cases. But we simply have to challenge this. Preposterous decision. Did Chol get anything for deliberately round arming Bowey by the way? Can't see anything about it on the afl site. 9 Quote
Gorgoroth 13,220 Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 Farce. Christian should be fed to the lions. 3 1 Quote
Devil In Disguise 2,284 Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 Yep. Chol's was worse & not even cited. Christian is a joke 4 Quote
Master Deebater 500 Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 At least we known Christian watches the Fox footy telecast and relies on Dunstan and Derwayne's negative comments. 2 Quote

ElDiablo14 5,055 Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 Get [censored] MRO. Last year you let Cripps walk free to win a Brownlow. JVR is innocent, MRO are clowns. By the way this was purely driven by the media!!! 4 1 Quote
DaveyJones'sLocker 647 Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 So disappointed, another perplexing decision from MRO. Feel like we have been on the wrong end of so many over the years. 2 Quote
OhMyDees 1,834 Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 (edited) Had Ballard not been accidentally hit in the head earlier in the game by Pickett’s knee (and allowed to continue by the Suns), I’d be willing to bet he wouldn’t have been injured by JVR trying to spoil. Just saying… Edited May 7, 2023 by OhMyDees 2 2 Quote
gOLLy 401 Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 Straight to the Supreme court. Must challenge 2 Quote
Redleg 42,156 Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 If we don’t challenge this we are simply p-weak. No injury yet high impact. 11 Quote
Die Hard Demon 1,224 Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 The club has to appeal this decision. Absolute [censored] joke of a decision. The whole “took his eyes off the ball” narrative is being misinterpreted as a bad thing.. JVR clearly took a duty of care to ensure he knew where the opponent was so as to avoid punching him in the head.. The momentum of Ballard coming forward carried him into JVR’s bicep. A total football accident. 6 Quote
