How many more years does he think he has in him?

I feel like a lot of these questions are only safe to ask behind a screen. In real life he’d probably punch all of us in the face for even hinting at retirement or asking him why he had a bad game once…. 😂

Would it be safe then for Andy to ask:

'So, Steve you set very high standards for yourself. How tough then has it been to play so poorly this season? And a related question Steve, what is happening with your ground ball gets? Seems like once the ball hits the ground you are a liability'

Also.. if you feel brave. He has super high standards of himself and others. It often looks on the screen, that he’s constantly getting ****ty with his other back men. what’s the balance he feels between encouragement and camraderie and getting [censored] off.

second the call to know more about his indigenous background and his leadership within the football and social communities

what would be his preferred 'defensive seven' set up at the dees in terms of personnel?

how does he balance criticism and encouragement of his teammates?

who is the most demonstrative of the back seven?

We've noticed his issues with bending over, so keen to know if he feels his fitness is currently a 'work in progress'.

Obviously don't expect him to say specifically, but definitely keen to know if it is something he is working through as the season progresses.

I'd like to know why he had a brain fade & got sucked in by Buddy last year.

He didn’t IMV, Buddy was just soft and flopped.

Who are his closest mates at the club and what does he enjoy doing away from football?  He might open up on a good story or two

With Collingwood looming as our greatest threat this year for another flag, how does he think our defensive system can nullify their fast ball movement and use of the corridor?

Last year, the FD talked a lot about staying hungry and competitive, however, many noticed a drop off in that facet last year. What has helped the team return to their ultra-competitive mentality of 2021?

And can he promise that we won't once again get pantsed by Cox and Mihocek?

I'd love to know about his journey as a young fella, coming from Darwin & finishing school at Melbourne Grammer, before heading to the GC. That's a hell of a journey for a young man, how did he cope missing family and friends?

Great to meet him at the family day too, my son was stoked get his signature on his number 1!

I'd be interested in comments he has on Salem's importance to the team and specifically Salem's structural role in our backline, past and future.

He was frankly quite cranky, Cranky Franky

Ask him why oh why do we always kick out to the left.

Or alternatively,  why haven’t we been doing so this season?

Followed up with a question about him taking fewer kick outs.

How long does he feel his body to stand up for before retirement

Why did he choose to come to the MFC?  What did he see (that I clearly couldnt?)

I've mentioned this before, but he was bound for Collingwood. His manager said just have a chat with Goody first before committing to them. He finished the phone call and told his manager to get him to Melbourne.  So the answer to your question is Simon Goodwin.

I like to know which of our players under 21 excluding JVR he is most excited to see over the coming years and why.

His take on Hawkins and Buddy, comparing them from his POV?

Joke - Has his boxing improved?

Yeah, I’m also curious in how long he sees himself playing for. His current contract expires at the end of 2025 (33 y/o), but I could easily see grumpy old man May playing a little longer than that. Hopefully that’s how he sees it too. I feel like it’s a question he’d be happy to answer honestly.
